Sonja Morgan addressed Jill Zarin’s involvement in the breakdown of the Real Housewives of New York: Legacy, and reflected on her divorce from John Adams Morgan. The alum also hinted at dating a royal, shared why her daughter Quincy never filmed, and shaded her ex-castmate Heather Thomson.
On February 7, news broke that Sonja’s ex-husband John passed away, though her recent interview was filmed beforehand. In the past, Sonja has claimed to have dated several celebrities and high-profile figures, including Prince Albert.
On the “Reality Court” podcast, Sonja alleged that she once dated a royal who was a ‘premature ejaculator.’
“And that’s how [I] learn[ed] how to fluff it, how to get it back up,” said Sonja. When asked if she was referring to Prince Albert, Sonja answered, “I would never say.”
She also addressed marrying into the Morgan family.
“The Morgans don’t marry you because you’re good-looking,” she said. “They really want someone that knows their way around … society, and how to raise money and philanthropy and all of that.”
According to Sonja, John “didn’t leave me,” despite what people believe.
“When I lost my husband … there was a big gap between just being me … [and] how to raise my daughter as a Morgan. That was a challenge because I didn’t grow up that way,” she said. “I kind of did it my way.”
She hinted that her daughter never filmed because she “does not want to be on television” or “be public.”
When asked about Bravo red-lighting RHONY Legacy – a show that was supposed to bring back original castmates – Sonja answered, “It’s like the rug was pulled out from not only [the fans] but us [castmates] … That was a shock to me.”
Host Ace Fanning asked if the rumors were true that Jill “f**ked [the] deal up.”
First, Sonja addressed how she and Jill were supposed to be original castmates together on RHONY, but Sonja “bailed out” before season 1 began filming.
