"So gross"— The Real Housewives of Orange County fans criticize Heather and Emily bringing up Katie's police report - suong

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 aired part 1 of its reunion special on Thursday, November 7, 2024, on Bravo. The segment saw the cast discuss several events of the latest installment, including newcomer Katie's conflict with Heather.
The two clashed over Katie talking about Heather intentionally calling the paparazzi to shoot pictures of her and her husband. While retaliating to the claims, Heather told Katie that "falsely accusing people" was her thing. The cast members asked what Heather was talking about, and Emily claimed that Katie falsely accused someone who ended up going to prison.

When Katie asked Emily to let her tell the story, Heather and Emily claimed that the police told a different story than her and they didn't know if they believed her recollection of the event.

Fans of RHOC season 18 reacted to the conflict online and criticized Emily and Heather for talking about Katie's police report. One person wrote on X:

"The way Heather and Emily dug up information about Katie's custody situation and the police report is so gross to me. They really thought they did something there. And they did. They got us to be disgusted by them."
"Emily and Heather, you're two privileged white women in Orange County. How dare you both minimize Katie's experience with police, as a woman of color, especially in this climate. Gina, you too. You should all be ashamed," a fan commented.
"Heather and Emily are clowns for going this lowdown to attack Katie for this deeply personal issue she experienced," a tweet read.

Fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 called their behavior "nasty to witness."

"Heather and Emily’s expose on Katie is so nasty to witness, and the scope of their interest is beyond weird and necessary. The low blows towards the custody of children, her interactions with the police, and her relationship with her ex is team too much," a person wrote.
"We're Katie's children with a complete stranger or their OWN father? Emily and Heather are monsters. No way ANY reputable civil rights organization should use Emily as a consultant. She acted as if Katie wasn't a young girl with no family support," a fan commented.
"For Heather white privileged a** to sit here and weaponize a case from 10 years ago to prove a point about Katie- again giving this much ENERGY over some petty bs about calling the paps?! Are u kidding me?! Yeah I’m good on her!" a tweet read.

Fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 further said:

"You were PISSED about something as frivolous as the paparazzi story that came up on IG, but had no issue going LOW about Katie's police encounter or child custody?! When someone shows you who they are, believe them. We see you now," a person wrote.
"Heather’s entitlement is on a whole other level. Acting like police reports are beyond question, especially when it involves marginalized communities? The privilege is showing, and it’s not a good look," a fan commented.

"Started screaming at me"— Katie recalls a decade-old incident with the police in The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 reunion

In The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18's reunion special, Heather accused Katie of falsely accusing people of things. Emily revealed that Katie falsely accused someone who ended up going to prison. Katie recalled the decade-old incident. She said she was in the car with her children on a four-lane road and a man was swerving into their lane.

"He went right in front of my car, and started screaming at me," Katie said.

Katie called the police who asked if she could remove herself from the situation and she tried to reverse her car. The man ran to the back and started filming the inside of The Real Housewives of Orange County star's car.

Heather interrupted and said that was not the story the police were telling and Katie said they were telling a one-sided story. The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 star said when the police arrived they asked him to calm down. They tased him and took him to jail.
