Should the Browns start Bailey Zappe over Dorian Thompson-Robinson in the finale vs. the Ravens?

The Cleveland Browns turned in another dismal performance in a 20-3 loss to the Miami Dolphins, but the spotlight was on quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who didn't take accountability for his poor play after the loss.

Thompson-Robinson passed for 170 yards and an interception in the loss. He also lost a fumble and was called for multiple intentional grounding penalties. But Thompson-Robinson thought he executed his "job" in the loss.

"For the most part, I thought I executed as far as doing my job," Thompson-Robinson said. "For most of the game, I did my job on the play that was asked and required of me on those plays."

Thompson-Robinson has thrown six interceptions and no touchdowns this season, posting a quarterback rating of 38.6. He's started four games in his career, going 1-4 with just one touchdown pass and 13 interceptions.

Browns fans pounced on Thompson-Robinson for his postgame statement.

"Is this a real quote? Please tell me this is not real. Like pretty please, this has to be a parody, right?" one fan said.

Another added: "This young man has taken too many shots to his head and is delusional."

The common joke made was that Thompson-Robinson was actually doing the job that was asked — play poorly so the Browns could lock up a top draft pick.

"Tanking is part of his job, he’s not wrong," another fan added.

With the Giants and Raiders winning, the Browns have been propelled into the No. 3 slot in the draft, behind only the New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans.
