Shep Rose Claps Back at Cosmetic Surgery Rumors: 'Just Look at My Head... - lulu

Shep Rose is 45 years old, but he still has a youthful glow to him. While some of his Southern Charm cast members are open about the cosmetic procedures that they've gotten done, Shep finally admitted to how he maintains his appearance. In fact, he recently revealed if it involves ever going under the knife or needle. You see, Shep appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Thursday, Dec. 19, where Andy Cohen asked him one straightforward question — "Have you got Botox in your forehead?"

"No!" Shep replied, immediately. "I've never done anything to myself. I haven't been to a doctor. Look at my head," he insisted, wrinkling his forehead and showing off the natural way his face moves.

Shep, however, did go under the knife in 2017 for a very different reason: to fix a longstanding knee injury. He told The Daily Dish at the time that he got his "knee scooped."

What is Shep Rose's beauty routine?

Apparently, Shep does not have a beauty regimen, or even a getting ready routine, according to Craig. The two men got ready for a night out during Season 2, Episode 11, which involved Shep putting on his clothes and walking out the door. "Shep self-admittedly doesn't have a routine to get ready," Craig said during the episode. "Shep secretly wants to be a pretty boy, but doesn't have the confidence to be a pretty boy."

In fact, Shep is even low maintenance (like, very low maintenance) when it comes to his haircuts and how much he spends on cutting his hair, as he reveals in the video below.

Austen Kroll and Craig Conover discuss their philosophy on cosmetic procedures

Although Shep has not gotten any work done, we have the scoop from some of the other guys on where they stand on the issue. During an April 2021 episode of the Pillows and Beer with Craig Conover and Austen Kroll podcast, Craig admitted to taking his skincare seriously. "I have maintenance, as in, I get facials and hydrofacials, and it's basically just to refresh my skin," he said during the episode, where he also revealed he used some "age-defying" products during his facial.

What Does the Southern Charm Cast Do for a Living?

Austen Kroll then opens up about getting an "IPL photofacial" done, which removes "unwanted pigmentation" and "sunspots" as well as filler on the right side of his face, underneath his eye. "But it like, fades, after a year, you know? And that was two years ago...So I did it one time," Austen said.

Craig also explained the reason why he doesn't get injections. "My only fear with injections, and I'm probably wrong...is that once you start, you have to keep up with them," Craig said. "And I don't think necessarily I'm at a place in my life that I need to start, but I could definitely take better care of my skin."
