As one Bravo relationship fell apart at the end of the Southern Charm Season 10 finale, another one was formed. After attending Madison LeCroy and Ryan Albert’s party together, Shep Rose and Molly O’Connell ended their night with an unexpected kiss, which ultimately led to the end of O’Connell’s dry spell. So, was it just a one-night stand? Or did Rose finally see what was right in front of him and make O’Connell his girlfriend? Keep reading for everything we’ve gathered.
While both of their Instagram pages don’t give away any information about where their relationship stands today, their co-star Venita Aspen seemed to hint on Thursday night’s (March 20) episode of Watch What Happens Live that things are still going strong between the love birds.
Aspen’s comment came when host Andy Cohen asked Bravo super fan Annaleigh Ashford how she felt about a potential romance between the two.
“I feel like I’d like to see that play out. Also, Molly is so sweet so if Shep does anything wrong to her I would be very upset,” she said.
Aspen then coyly added, “I don’t think Shep’s gonna hurt her.” Spoken as though a full-blown relationship has come to fruition!
It should also be noted that Rose and O’Connell were seated next to one another at the upcoming Season 10 reunion. Based on past trends, production will typically place those involved in showmances on opposite sides of Cohen if they didn’t stand the test of time — I’m looking at you, Ciara Miller and West Wilson.
Plus, Rose and O’Connell were paired together for their last WWHL appearance back in December. Coincidence? I think not!
When DECIDER caught up with Salley Carson last month, she agreed that they would make a “good match” — as did Taylor Ann Green, Rose’s ex-girlfriend.
“I encouraged it. I love Molly. I think that she is an absolute catch. She’s just fun and quirky and they share a lot of similar interests,” Green told us during a January Zoom interview. “I kind of shipped it as well. But looking back, I was like, ‘Why would I do that to Molly? She’s such a catch!'”
Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
