“She kept it in her pocket for six hours” – Panic buttons issued on Bravo set after Jax Taylor allegedly punched wall in violent outburst during unaired reunion meltdown, as shaken crew and crying producers forced into lockdown - suong

Vanderpump Rules' star reveals bipolar diagnosis: What to know about the condition - ABC NewsThe atmosphere during the reunion taping for The Valley was described as “intensely volatile, nearly unmanageable” — and at the center of it all was none other than Jax Taylor. According to an exclusive source present at the scene, Bravo made an unprecedented decision: staff were issued physical panic buttons after Jax allegedly punched a wall backstage in a fit of rage.

The insider revealed, “Things got so tense that production leads requested emergency alert buttons. One female producer was told to keep one in her pocket for six straight hours — just in case Jax ‘snapped’ under pressure.” This marks the first known instance of Bravo deploying emergency safety devices during a reunion, which are already known for their heated confrontations but rarely escalate to physical threats.

The incident reportedly occurred near the end of the official taping, after Brittany had broken down in tears during a solo confessional segment. Jax — who was not scheduled to appear at that time — allegedly stormed out of his designated holding area, shouting, and slammed his fist into a wall outside the editing suite. The impact was reportedly so loud “the lighting crew stopped what they were doing, thinking a rig had fallen.” One audio technician stated, “We thought someone had collapsed. Turns out it was just the wall — dented.”

No one was physically harmed. However, according to multiple crew members, a makeup artist was seen visibly shaken and crying, and a sound engineer reportedly filed an incident report within minutes. “They shut the doors. Everyone was told to stay in place. Jax didn’t scream again — but everyone knew it crossed the line.”

Jax then left the studio without alerting production, forcing the team to reshoot his confessionals the following day using stand-in lighting and a staged background. Bravo has not released any footage from the incident — but several staff were asked to sign new NDA amendments after the taping.

One source close to Bravo shared: “There’s not going to be a clip. They know it’s PR poison — especially with Jax trying to rebuild his image as a healed father figure.”

Notably, Brittany didn’t learn about the wall-punching until the next day. A stylist close to her recalled, “She was stunned. Her first question was, ‘Was Cruz there?’ And even after hearing he wasn’t, she teared up through the entire hair session.”

Backstage reports also suggest Bravo debated whether to cut the entire final segment of the reunion to preserve the illusion of a “unified cast,” but editors pushed back. “They can’t pretend it didn’t happen. But they also can’t show it. So right now, it’s likely heading to the forever vault.”

To date, Jax Taylor has made no public comment on the wall-punching incident, and no crew member has officially confirmed the panic button measure. Still, the very fact that a Bravo cast member required emergency alerts on set speaks volumes: the network may be playing a dangerous game with a man no longer in control of himself.
