“She banned our kids from the hallway because it was the ‘military corridor’” — Aaron Phypers unleashes chilling details of Denise Richards’s bizarre obsession with her Marine lover, deleted texts, smashed phones, and a sex altar in their basement - suong

Denise Richards' Husband Aaron Phypers Files for Divorce After 6 Years of MarriageAaron Phypers has finally broken his silence — and the picture he paints of his life with Denise Richards is more disturbing than anyone could have imagined. In a shocking and emotional exposé, Denise’s estranged husband lays bare what he calls the “psychological disintegration” of their home, triggered by what he believes was an obsessive, secret affair between the former Real Housewives star and a mysterious ex-Marine she met in 2022.

According to Aaron, the transformation in Denise’s behavior was so gradual it almost felt like a dream—until it became a nightmare. “She changed the rules of the house without warning. One day, the kids were told they couldn’t walk down the hallway because it was ‘sacred ground.’ She called it the military corridor. She said it wasn’t ours anymore,” he recalls, his voice heavy with disbelief.

Phypers claims he found one text exchange in which the Special Forces veteran, Rudy Reyes, who is from South Carolina, sent Richards a shirtless snap

Aaron claims Denise began redecorating parts of their home to reflect what she called “a warrior’s energy,” stripping family photos from the walls and replacing them with war memorabilia. Above the thermostat, a U.S. Marine helmet was mounted like a trophy. In the hallway, an American flag hung beside a brass plaque that read “Fort Richards.” She insisted no one speak loudly in that area—because it was where she “communed” with someone she referred to only as “Captain.”

Reyes sent an X-rated selfie and expressed desire to see Richards in a text conversation as recent as May, according to Phypers

What makes Aaron’s revelations even more troubling is his claim that Denise had constructed a red-lit “sacred room” in their basement. Disguised behind a fake storage wall, the room was outfitted with a floor mattress covered in camo sheets, dozens of candles, and a crate topped with what appeared to be a small shrine: a framed photo of the unnamed Marine, his dog tags, and a pink cowboy hat that Denise reportedly kissed before entering the room. “It was like a bunker. Not a man cave. A sex altar,” Aaron says. “She called it her combat zone of freedom.”

But the most alarming part, Aaron insists, was Denise’s use of technology to maintain the secrecy. He alleges she used a hidden iPad labeled “charity receipts” to send and receive encrypted messages. When he confronted her, she allegedly smashed her iPhone and locked herself in the basement. Days later, Aaron discovered the iPad had been wiped—107 messages deleted, apps uninstalled, browsing history cleared. “I never saw the texts. But I found one drafted email in her trash folder. It said, ‘You’re my real deployment.’ That’s when I knew.”

The alleged text exchange between Richards and her alleged lover include X-rated photos of the actress herself ¿ including a racy snap where she is seen exposing one breast

The emotional toll on the household, particularly their children, was immense. Aaron describes how the atmosphere in the house deteriorated to the point where even the dogs—reportedly 58 at one point—became part of the chaos. “There was feces everywhere. The kids were afraid. One of them asked me why Mommy saluted the wall. That was it for me. I started sleeping in my car,” he confesses.

Aaron’s story doesn’t stop at emotional trauma. He’s currently working with legal counsel and preparing documentation—photos of the basement, email drafts, and even footage from a security camera Denise allegedly forgot to disable. Insiders say the material could become central to an upcoming custody battle, especially if concerns are raised about Denise’s state of mind and the safety of the children in her care.

Phypers says his discovery of the alleged May tryst led to an explosive showdown over the July 4 holiday weekend, during which Richards allegedly smashed up his phone (pictured)

So far, Denise Richards has remained silent on the accusations. Friends of the actress say Aaron is “blowing things out of proportion” and trying to “publicly punish her for leaving.” But others close to the couple admit that her behavior in the final year of their marriage became increasingly erratic. One former housekeeper reportedly quit after walking in on Denise in the basement, “singing to the Marine photo in lingerie and crying.”

As Aaron moves out and the legal drama intensifies, the public is left stunned by the portrait of a household undone not just by infidelity, but by fantasy, delusion, and a descent into something darker. And for Aaron, the damage is already done. “She didn’t just cheat,” he says quietly. “She disappeared into a version of herself that none of us recognized. And she left the rest of us behind in the rubble.”

What was once a glamorous marriage has now become a battleground of loyalty, secrecy, and haunting silence—and the world is watching as the final chapter unfolds.
