Shannon Beador Denies Involvement in Alexis Bellino’s Departure from RHOC
Shannon Beador has clarified that she played no part in Alexis Bellino’s dismissal from “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” despite their ongoing conflict throughout the season.
“I have absolutely no sway with the network, production team, or anyone else involved, and I would never seek to harm someone’s career,” Beador, 60, explained to Us Weekly in a recent discussion.
In a veiled jab at Bellino, who referred to herself as a “TV star” at the Season 18 reunion, Beador remarked with a hint of irony.
“Alexis Bellino considers herself a TV star, having been in the limelight for 15 years,” Beador commented sardonically. “I’m confident she’ll land another role soon enough.”
Last month, 48-year-old Bellino revealed that she had been let go from “The Real Housewives of Orange County.”
“They did not invite me back for the next season,” Bellino disclosed on the “Going Rogue” podcast.
Bellino, who was a main cast member from Seasons 5 to 8 and rejoined as a “friend of” the cast last year for Season 18, confessed on the podcast that her termination did not come as a surprise.
“I can’t say I was shocked. It definitely wasn’t a shock,” she stated, referring to her “difficult conversation” with the network.
Feud and Legal Issues Overshadow Bellino’s Return
Bellino’s highly anticipated comeback was marred by her tumultuous feud with Beador, which entangled both legal and personal relationship issues.
Bellino’s fiancé, John Janssen, had a previous relationship with Beador. Following their breakup, Janssen accused Beador of failing to repay a $75,000 loan he gave her for a facelift.
The dispute was eventually resolved, and Page Six exclusively reported that Beador felt “relieved” that the legal battle had concluded.
“She never wanted the issues with Shannon and John to drive a wedge between them, and she’s relieved they can finally put this chapter behind them and move on,” a source disclosed.
