Shamea Morton Reacts to Porsha Williams Not Supporting Her Music: ‘It Was Hurtful’

Shamea Morton reacted to one of her closest friends not publicly supporting her music.

Since filming wrapped for season 16 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, we’ve learned that childhood besties, Shamea Morton and Porsha Williams, are no longer close.

Each episode Porsha either makes a dig at her former friend or is extremely dismissive. Which is the exact opposite of the ride or die energy Shamea has shown when she appeared as a “friend of” in seasons past.

During episode The Vault, Shamea shows the ladies a clip of her new song, Neva Had

“People are talking over it, not respecting my music, that was hurtful,” the new Peach Holder said.

While Shamea plays her single, Porsha repeatedly says “that’s not her,” and even questions if Drew Sidora is actually singing.

Yes, the Drew who has a close relationship with Porsha’s ex-husband, Dennis. Aka — Drew’s “brother.”

“Porsha’s a good friend of mine, and I would have thought she would at least let the [women] hear the song.”

“Why would I be playing Drew’s song when I’ve been singing since I was able to talk,” she said.

Because we support other women, stream Neva Had! Shamea deserves her flowers!
