Teddi Mellencamp is finally home after undergoing surgery for multiple brain tumors in February. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum discovered she had multiple brain tumors after having a CT scan and an MRI. She then had an emergency surgery to remove the larger ones and has since been recovering ahead of her radiation treatment.
Teddi took to her Instagram Story earlier this week, where she gave a look into her life now that she's back home. Teddi first filmed herself from the car, admitting that she was on the way home after spending weeks in the hospital. "16 days and I get to go home!!!" she wrote over a selfie, sitting in the passenger seat of a car, singing along to "Coming Home, Pt. II" by Skylar Grey. "Thank you to all my loves and life savers for getting me to this [point]."
Why Teddi Mellencamp was "very emotional" about being home after surgery
Once she was home, Teddi took to the treadmill, where she went for a walk. "Starting off slow, obviously, very emotional, obviously, watching your body change, it's so much medication from the brain tumors," she explained, tearing up. "But just trying to remember how grateful I am that I can move my body again."
Teddi then credited her accountability coaching program, All In, for helping her get back on her feet. "I am here, I am moving my body, one day at a time," she continued. "And then I'll get back to where I want to be. Feeling my best."
She also showed off the bruising and swelling on her arms amid her recovery. "Bruising and swelling but I know I can do this," she noted. "F--k off tears. I can do hard things."

Let's see," Teddi said, before getting in to her cold plunge tub. "Cold plunge." She was able to breathe through it all before treating herself to some sauna time at the end.
Teddi Mellencamp shares the "next steps" in her health journey
Teddi took to Instagram on Feb. 27, where she posted a statement with an update on her health and shared some brand new photos. She revealed that the doctors removed "more tumors than expected: 4 in total." "This fight is not over, but that round has been won," she wrote.
She then thanked the nursing staff and doctors who were able to help her along the way. "As I move on to the next steps in my treatment, I just wanted to say thank you to everybody for the outpouring of love and prayers. I see them, and they're definitely helping me stay strong," she continued.
Days later, Teddi took to Instagram where she detailed some of those next steps. "Staples out and ready for radiation," she captioned the post, debuting her short new hairstyle.
