Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife Larsa Pippen chose to watch the Super Bowl on a yacht instead of Caesars Superdome along with millions of fans. Larsa Pippen posted a number of pictures from her night where she can be seen enjoying herself with her family while watching Kendrick Lamar performing during the halftime show at the Super Bowl on Sunday.
Super Bowl LIX concluded on Sunday with the Philadelphia Eagles defeating the Kansas City Chiefs with a final score of 40-22. The Chiefs were adamant to win a third straight Super Bowl, but these dreams were crushed by the mighty Eagles who put on an amazing show. Philadelphia’s quarterback Jalen Hurts was clearly the man of the hour, completing 17 passes out of 22 attempts for 221 yards, scoring twice, while also rushing with 11 carries for 72 yards.
Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife’s second picture of her post showed Kendrick Lamar performing on her huge TV screen. Rapper Lamar performed at his first Super Bowl halftime show and clearly thrilled the crowd with a performance which highlighted the essence of African-American culture. Lamar also created some drama by choosing to perform ‘Not Like Us’ which is a diss track directly aimed at rapper Drake.
Scottie Pippen’s Former Team To Meet Detroit Pistons Next
Meanwhile, Scottie Pippen’s former team, the Chicago Bulls, is scheduled to take on the Detroit Pistons next to continue the NBA schedule. The Chicago Bulls are coming to this matchup after playing against the Golden State Warriors and losing with a final score of 132-111.
In that game, Chicago’s offense was led by Coby White who chalked up 27 points for the team, with four boards and four helpers each. Matas Buzelis added another 16 points for the team, grabbing four rebounds and assisting five times, while Jalen Smith added another 15 points to the team’s total.
The Chicago Bulls will be playing two games back-to-back against the Detroit Pistons next up. Currently, the team is ranked tenth in the Eastern Conference with 22 wins and 31 defeats on the season. In their previous matchup against the Detroit Pistons, the Bulls took a beating, losing 127-119. In that game, Coby White put up 22 points, while Nikola Vucevic and Josh Giddey matched 20 points each for the team.
Scottie Pippen was a part of the Chicago Bulls squad from 1987 to 1998 and managed to win six NBA championships for the team. Scottie Pippen played in the NBA for a total of 17 seasons and had his jersey no. 33 retired by the Chicago Bulls for his contributions to the team.
