In some ways, Scheana Shay is a bit of a polarizing figure in reality TV. Some love the Vanderpump Rules star, while other fans feel differently. Now, she’s opening up about The Valley’s cast and saying that it seems some of them are putting on for the cameras after receiving backlash in season one. Additionally, the reality TV veteran is considering having more kids.
As fans know, Scheana and the cast of Vanderpump Rules are currently in limbo as they wait to begin filming the show’s new season. Previously, it was believed that she might join the cast of The Valley, but that seems highly unlikely as filming for that show has ended.
Recently, Scheana discussed reality TV and how different shows became different after the first season. She used The Valley as an example, as she has ties to the cast. Luckily, the Breaking the Rules Podcast Clips account on Instagram captured what she had to say. According to Scheana, “That’s the thing. It’s like a first season show, they’re so innocent. They don’t know what the world has in store for them in reality TV.”
She continues, “And the second season, you’re definitely way more in your head. I see it with my friends on The Valley, where it’s like you film, then it airs, then you get the backlash. Then you film another season, and you’re still in your head about, well, if I say this if I don’t like this person.”
Scheana goes on, “I think some are acting a little more calm at times and I’m like, ‘come on, give me the crazy, you know?’ Then there are some that just was just like; it’s so beautiful that the cameras just aren’t there, and they’re just themselves.”
In other Scheana news, she also opened up on the Scheananigans podcast about wanting to have more kids. She says, “I don’t know if I want to do it again. I don’t know if I can. I don’t know, but I do have an appointment after this podcast with doctor Ghadir, who froze my eggs.”
She continues, “So we’re gonna just take the next steps to see about fertilizing the eggs, to see if we have any embryos, that’s as far mentally as I can go.”
Janet Caperna was also on this episode of the podcast and asked if Brock Davies had “done his part yet?”
Scheana responds, “Not yet. We have the consult today and then we need to get the eggs transferred over to Dr. Ghadir’s new facility.”
Janet then says, “And Brock gets to have a date with a cup.”
Scheana continues, “I know because we have to go the surrogate route. It’s gonna be a year and a half, two years before we would even have a baby. So hopefully, by then, I’m mentally a little stronger.”
Then Janet jokes about carrying the baby for Scheana and Brock.
