Scheana Shay seemingly called out Katie Maloney for “trolling” her with leaked texts on Twitter after her Vanderpump Rules castmate denied her claim that she gave Tom Schwartz and Raquel Leviss her blessing.
Following the sharing of a series of leaked text messages between them, Scheana shared a shady post about “trolling” as Katie wrote a lengthier comment on Instagram, telling fans that she would’ve never “meddled” in Scheana’s divorce from Mike Shay.
“Imagine spending your weekend trolling on social media … Let’s send some extra love to those people today!” Scheana tweeted on February 19, along with a red heart emoji.
Meanwhile, on Instagram, in a screenshot shared by Bravo and Cocktails on Instagram, Katie was seen stating that when Scheana and Mike were going through their breakup years ago, she would’ve never meddled in the way Scheana has with her and Tom.
“Ya I was supportive during her divorce and wouldn’t have dreamed of meddling this way. Grief isn’t linear and I have said all kinds of sh-t, cried and screamed. All while being under a microscope and thought I had actual friends during these conversations,” Katie wrote. “She said I told him I would wing woman for him. And I said ya when he is ready he could probably use some encouragement from some friends.”
Katie then gave a nod to her own suggestion that she was heavily drinking when she allegedly communicated her blessing for Tom and Raquel, who reportedly hooked up at Scheana and Brock Davies‘ wedding in Mexico last August, to Scheana.
“Did I have 17 drinks? No lol that was hyperbole (I’m finding humor is still lost in social media) I remember our entire 10 minute conversation,” she insisted. “What I meant by that was it wasn’t the environment to take anything I was saying seriously. It was cheeky girly chat. And I certainly didn’t think she would throw it in Tom’s face either.”
According to the report, Katie’s comment came in response to a message shared by Cici Loves You, which read, “While watching the upcoming episodes I want y’all to remember that nobody initiated or facilitated a moment where Mike Shay was pushed towards another girl in the group after their divorce. Not a single soul did that, no matter how they felt about Scheana.”
Along with her and Scheana’s leaked text messages days ago, Katie accused Scheana of facilitating a relationship between her ex-husband and Raquel because she “needed a storyline” on the show.
