Saquon Barkley's Girlfriend Sends Three-Word Message Before Super Bowl LIX - suong

Saquon Barkley and the Philadelphia Eagles are riding a five-game winning streak heading into Super Bowl LIX.

This season's championship game will be a rematch of Super Bowl LVII against the Kansas City Chiefs, a game the Eagles lost 38-35. Philadelphia will be seeking its second Lombardi trophy and its first since the 2017 season.

Ahead of the big game, Barkley revealed a life-changing decision, announcing his engagement to his girlfriend Anna Congdon. Although the news dropped in February, Barkley confirmed that his actual proposal came six months prior.

On Friday, Congdon took to social media to send a three-word message as the Super Bowl inches closer. She responded to a video that included her daughter Jada, sending a heartfelt voicemail to Barkley.

The video of Jada's message to her father features multiple clips of the family together, including her younger brother, Saquon Jr.

"Hi, Daddy, it's Jada," Jada said. "I'm so excited for your big game. I really, really, really hope you win. And Daddy, really, I'm really thankful that you've been caring for your whole family, and I know you're going to win. But if you don't, that is okay. I'll always, always love you. And SJ always loves you. And Mommy would always love you. And your mother and father would always love you. Our whole family would always love you no matter what you do. I love you so much, Daddy, for taking care of me and SJ and Mommy. Big blessings. I love you, Daddy. Bye."

Barkley responded to Jada's message as well, commenting, "😢❤️❤️❤️."

Barkley is coming off one of the best seasons of his career. The former New York Giants running back recorded 345 carries for 2,005 yards and 13 touchdowns, earning the 2024 NFL Offensive Player of the Year award.

Now, Barkley will get to chase his first ring as the Eagles face the Chiefs on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET.
