Sami Sheen is having her breast implants removed after learning she’s suffering from breast implant illness.
After experiencing years of symptoms, the 21-year-old OnlyFans model, who was seen alongside mom Denise Richards, 54, on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, took to her Instagram Story, where she shared a series of posts with her fans and followers, explaining her decision and the side effects she’s endured.
“I’ve been experiencing health issues for nearly [two] years now with the weirdest symptoms and finally discovered that I have breast implant illness. [I don’t know] how I haven’t figured this out sooner but I’m so happy I finally have an answer. I’m hoping to get them removed asap so I can start feeling better,” Sami announced on June 23, requesting recommendations for a “good explant surgeon” near Los Angeles.
While Sami looks forward to getting back to her former self, she admitted that downsizing from her enhanced breasts would be challenging.
“It’s definitely gonna be hard going back to this size. Not only physically, but mentally,” she shared. “I don’t want to at all but I know I’ll feel so much better once they are out. So I guess it’s worth it.”
“I posted about this on my TikTok but figured I would talk about it on here [in case] anyone else is experiencing the same thing … This is your sign to always put your health first!!!” she added.
Then, signaling an image of herself with long hair, Sami noted that the illness she was experiencing had taken her long hair from her.
She also posted a third image after a fan asked her, “What were your symptoms?”
“[Breast Implant Illness] often mimics certain autoimmune diseases, but I’m certain it’s my implants because these symptoms started almost immediately after getting them done, and now I experience nearly all of these symptoms every single day. It’s exhausting,” Sami replied.
As for her symptoms, she offered a list that included chronic fatigue, sensitivity to temperature, allergic to almost everything, hair loss, acne, headaches, memory loss, brain fog, vertigo, joint pain, muscle pain, skin rashes, severe anxiety, dry eyes, and mood swings.
After undergoing a boob job in 2023, Sami got her nose done in 2024, explaining that she felt her natural nose was “sooo droopy and too big for [her] face.”
