SAM Thompson has sparked concern in a new video, with fans admitting ‘he looks broken’.
The Sun exclusively revealed this week Zara, 28, is now dating One Direction superstar Louis Tomlinson, 33.
Fans have since grown worried about the Made in Chelsea star, especially following his latest social media activity.
In his latest Instagram post, Sam starred in a promo video for the new Assassin’s Creed Shadows game, where he humorously played up his excitement for the franchise.
He narrated his morning routine before diving into the game, showcasing its Feudal Japan setting.
While the video was meant to be lighthearted, fans couldn’t help but notice that Sam seemed different.
Many took to the comments section to share their concerns.
One wrote: "He looks/seems different without Zara."
Someone else added: "Nah I see it, he looks broken. The eyes are very telling. Hope he is okay! True heartbreak is the worst."
A third said: "I thought this, hope he’s okay."
This week, Zara's friends voiced their concerns about Sam who they say "never wanted to let her go" and are worried he's a "loose cannon" following the break-up.
Their comments come after something he said on his podcast Staying Relevant, where he chatted to MAFS relationship expert Paul Brunson.
Pals of Zara were not happy when Sam appeared to make a dig at his ex by saying: "A lot of people look for validation in other people and they look for the next person instantly . . . It's like, 'I need to find someone else to fill that hole and I need to find that excitement.'
"You know when you get that excited feeling when you are talking to someone new and fresh? I can't do that."
Zara's pals have told the Daily Mail that Sam will "never be forgiven" for what they are calling, "snide" and "attention-seeking" remarks.
A friend told the outlet: "Why would he do this?
"Zara put a lot into her relationship with Sam: she did everything she could to make it work for five years, but in the end she just couldn't.
"He's a loose cannon, as we saw with his comments so soon after Zara's relationship was made public. It's really quite pathetic of him. It feels like it always has to be about him"
Continuing they added: "Six months ago he was crying in the street with photographers watching because he was upset at Zara.
"You have to wonder what he is going to say next. Why can't he just let her move on? Will she ever escape his clutches? Who knows."
EMOTIONAL UPDATE
In the same episode of his Staying Relevant podcast where he chatted to Paul Brunson, he shared an emotional update.
The newly-single star said: "I’m terrified about where I’m going.
"The way I see my life is that there’s a plane and the pilot’s past out and they’re going ‘can anybody fly a plane?’ and it’s like ‘no but they’re going to put Sam in the cockpit and you’re like smashing buttons… I’ve got to land this thing and you have no idea what you’re doing."
The former Made In Chelsea star also asked relationship expert Paul: “I think there are so many people in this world that are going through a break-up, that if you can give me some advice, I imagine we could probably help someone out there. I mean they’re f****** tough.
"What’s the first bit of advice you would give to someone who’s been given the boot and what do you do.
"Would you go out straight away and try and find someone else, would you sit in it for a bit, do you dwell, what’s the stages of it?"
Paul then explained that most people go through many stages before they find themselves again.
ZARA 'SO HAPPY'
But while Sam is trying to figure things out, Zara is reportedly "so happy" with her new man Louis.
According to sources, the One Direction hunk has "put a smile back on her face" after a tough breakup.
"Zara is so happy, it’s early days with her and Louis but everything is going well between them," a friend told the Daily Mail.
"News of their romance leaked sooner than they intended - the plan was to keep things private for as long as possible.
"They still hope to keep intimate details away from prying eyes."
THE SPLIT
Sam and Zara, who appeared on Made In Chelsea together, called time on their romance in December.
The couple spent last Christmas apart, confirming shortly after that they had ended their relationship after "a tough year".
A source close to the couple told MailOnline at the time: "Sam and Zara have ended their relationship. It's been an incredibly difficult decision for them to part ways, they still care and have a lot of love for each other."
