During Season 10 of Southern Charm, viewers have been getting to know newcomer Salley Carson. And now, we're getting to meet her boyfriend, Andrew, as well.
"Andrew is not my usual type," said Salley in a confessional after Andrew arrived to her housewarming party in Episode 6, which aired on January 16. "I'm typically with a business man, I feel like. You know, really aggressive? But Andrew wants to communicate everything and talk so soft. I don't know. I love that my type's changing."
In the previous episode, Salley had also described Andrew as "passionate."
Salley Carson's boyfriend Andrew has history with Taylor Ann Green
During Episode 5, Salley revealed that Andrew previously had romantic history with Taylor [Ann Green]. Meanwhile, prior to Salley's relationship with Andrew, she was dating Taylor's current boyfriend, Gaston Rojas. On Episode 3, Salley also shared that she "slept with Shep [Rose]," who Taylor dated for two years.
Ultimately, Salley and Andrew's past romances helped bring them together. "Me and Andrew were best friends," Salley explained during episode 5. "He was the one that got me through the Gaston s--t, and I helped him get through the Taylor s--t. We bonded over it, and, yeah, now we're dating."
At Salley's party during Episode 6, Andrew had a bit of an awkward moment with Shep Rose over their pasts. After the men noted they'd crossed paths before, Salley chimed in to say it happened "twice."
"Me being one of them," she joked, to which Andrew chimed in, "Also Taylor [Ann Green]."
Taylor shared her perspective on her romance with Andrew during the episode, stating, "He's very strange... We had a situationship. He wanted to be exclusive, but also he was hooking up with multiple other girls."
Do Salley Carson and her boyfriend, Andrew, live together?
No. During Episode 6, Salley joked with Andrew about the fact that he let himself into her house. "I already got a key," he reasoned with a smile.
Salley Carson reveals she was previously engaged
On the subject of romance, Salley also talked a bit about her former fiancé during Episode 6.
"When I was 22 years old I got engaged. We had the big house and, like, he wanted kids and I thought that I had everything. And then 25 days before the wedding I got a DM that he'd been cheating on me, so I cancelled the wedding and moved to Charleston," she explained in a confessional. "And then that's kind of when single Salley came back full force."
Because her ex-fiancé had all assets in his name, Salley is happy to now own a house of her own.
"I know no matter what happens in any relationship I'm in that I'll be OK," she said.
