Bravo is purportedly test filming for The Real Housewives of Seattle and The Real Housewives of Rhode Island as sources speak out. The last Housewives franchise to hit Bravo airwaves was Real Housewives of Dubai nearly three years ago.

The fate of RHODubai, however, is up in the air, as the network recently placed it on pause. Some fans believe it’s essentially canceled. The show’s weak ratings perhaps explain why Bravo hasn’t branched out to new cities in a while.

But according to The Reality Report, Bravo is allegedly test filming for The Real Housewives of Seattle and The Real Housewives of Rhode Island.

“My cousin works as a party planner in Seattle,” said a source via @therealhousewiveszone on Instagram, “and [they] recently organized an event for one of the cast members filming Real Housewives of Seattle.”

A different source addressed the potential franchise in Rhode Island.

“My in-laws live in east Greenwich and my [mother-in-law] said Rhode Island housewives is happening,” said the source. “She lives in an upscale part of east Greenwich and said one of her neighbors was either testing/supposed to be on it.”

Back in December, Bravo host Andy Cohen addressed the possibility of adding on a new Real Housewives franchise.

“We’re always kind of fishing around. But I think we’re in a pretty good place right now. But stay tuned. You never know,” Andy admitted of a possible new addition on the December 1 episode of the WWHL: After Show.

And in November, a source told Us Weekly that RHODubai was put on “pause.”

“The cast was told a couple days ago,” the insider shared at the time.

Following the report, castmate Caroline Brooks pointed to her own post from a month earlier, and she slammed co-stars for ‘debunking’ rumors that the show was ending.

“Not sure where all of these #RHODubai [claims] are coming from. Bravo hasn’t announced anything and our ENTIRE cast hasn’t been told anything. So I thought I might share that since there are people ‘teasing’ and ‘debunking’ rumors,” said Brooks in the past post on X. “Just saying it’s giving THIRSTY calm down.”

She then wrote a new comment in light of the ‘pause’ report: “This [past post] aged well… 🥂 #RHODubai Ladies, don’t debunk things and make false announcements to mislead people. Girls speaking about ‘shakeups’ and all of the debunking, was.. well.. interesting to watch on my timeline 😄 I TOLD YOU.”
