RHOSLC’s Angie Katsanevas Shares New Insight Into Being Kicked Out of Meredith’s Bat Mitzvah as Meredith Calls Out Her Lack of Respect and Accuses Her of “Sl*t-[Shaming] Women,” Plus Angie Shades Bronwyn’s Marriage

Angie Katsanevas looked back on the moment Meredith Marks had security escort her out of her bat mitzvah after Wednesday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City saw them at odds.

After Meredith, 52, tossed Angie, 51, out of her event after accusing her of making derogatory comments about Britani Bateman and her hair, Angie said the drama was “embarrassing” and defended herself as Meredith alleged Angie had no respect for her family and called her out for “sl*t-[shaming] women.”

“When Meredith called security to kick me out, my heart dropped. In front of her mother and her children, and her son who’s never around? I mean, this is embarrassing,” Angie recalled on the December 4 episode of the RHOSLC: After Show. “She brings me there and does that to me? It was very cruel, the way she did it.”

“Like, you keep trying to put me out of all your events. You’re going to recycle the material?” Angie wondered.

According to Angie, she brought gifts for Meredith to the event, prayed, and closed her eyes, as she was expected to.

“I greeted her family. I congratulated. I knew I needed to be mindful, be thoughtful, be kind. And she kicks me out in front of everyone? She doesn’t even have all the facts. She doesn’t even know that Britani provoked me,” Angie reasoned.

As Angie blamed Britani for coming at her first, Meredith wondered why Angie agreed to attend her bat mitzvah if she wasn’t going to be respectful of her family.

“She clearly doesn’t have any respect for my family. But you’re here. That’s fine. Great. Celebrate,” Meredith stated. “[But] then Britani comes up to me and says that Angie’s been sl*t-shaming her. It’s just this very degrading behavior towards other women that I’ve personally experienced and witnessed from her. So of course I’m gonna believe Britani when she says that to me.”

“I’m like, you’re supposed to be here supporting my family, but you clearly don’t respect my family, and now you’re gonna slut shame women? You gotta go,” Meredith declared.

Elsewhere, Lisa Barlow, 49, said that Angie “degrading another woman” was the “last straw” for Meredith as Britani admitted that she felt “really bonded” to Meredith at that moment.

“She stood up for me. She stood up for herself. She stood up for women in general,” Britani noted.

“I think that for her, too, it was also hurting because it’s like, you’re degrading another woman, and that was the last straw for her I think,” Lisa added.

During another segment of the RHOSLC: After Show, Angie recalled Bronwyn Newport‘s husband, Todd Bradley, 65, showing interest in buying her $4.5 million home in Salt Lake City, which she and her husband, Shawn Trujillo, put on the market earlier this year.

“Todd would be a great buyer because we can go back and visit the house. He lives down the street. I don’t think he loves his house. But we don’t have enough property for all their dogs, so I think that was a little bit of a downfall for Bronwyn,” she explained. “But he did love the house.”

Then, as Bronwyn noted that Todd hated their remodel and joked that he “might go live at Angie’s,” Angie threw some shade at their marriage, which has faced rumors of turmoil in recent weeks.

“I think Todd thought he would move into our house and Bronwyn would stay down there, and then they could just live happily ever after,” she stated.

Angie then added that she and Shawn hope to build a one-level home on a horse property in the future.

“There’s a beautiful property that we are looking at, and we’ll only really relocate for this particular property,” she revealed. “My daughter could live out the rest of her childhood at home and maybe stay with us longer if there [are] horses on the property.”

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season five airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
