A Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star has stunned viewers after making an outrageous claim about using supersized tampons to stop herself from urinating.
Mary Cosby, 51, made the unbelievable statement on the October 2 episode of the series, which saw the cast take a trip to Milwaukee to attend a basketball game.
When asked by co-star Angie Katsanevas if she needed to use the bathroom, Mary shot back, 'No, I don't use public restrooms.'
She continued, 'I always wear a tampon and it holds it.'
Puzzled by the bizarre admission, Angie asked, 'Is that real?'

Mary doubled down on the claim, saying, 'Promise. Get a tampon. You will not have to pee the whole time.'
Explaining the dubious trick to producers later, Mary beamed and said, 'It's worked for me for years!
'If you're gonna be out long and you've got errands to run, just insert that bad boy in there,' she continued.
'Make sure it's the supersized though. It can't be the medium or the small!'
After the episode aired, Mary's castmate Heather Gay backed the bizarre method on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
'I know a couple of castmates have tried it and they attest to it that it does work!' she said.
Viewers were shocked by the claim, with many taking to social media to express their disgust and confusion.

'Why do I feel that's the fastest way to get a UTI?' asked one.
'My jaw was on the floor when she said this,' wrote another. 'Not only is that very unhygienic, but it would smell awful. I can't imagine doing this, the heat and moisture is a breeding ground for an infection, whether it's a yeast infection or bladder infection.'
However, a number of people online also jumped to Mary's defense.
'She's nuts but I will say I pee a ton less with a tampon in,' one fan wrote on Reddit.
'Tampons can help with incontinence issues in woman. Some woman after children will wear them when working out, after children to prevent leaking,' wrote another.
Wearing tampons when you're not on your period is generally considered to be dangerous as it increases the risk of developing Toxic Shock Syndrome.
Another issue from wearing tampons when not on a period is dryness and potential infections, as the tampon can soak up natural moisture in the vagina.
Mary has been one of the most controversial characters on RHOSLC since its premiere in 2020.
The glamorous preacher famously married her step grandfather after her grandmother died.
She described their union as an 'arranged marriage' and admitted that it caused jealously between herself and her mother, who also wanted to marry him.
