"RHONY Season 15 Preview: Erin Lichy Dishes on the Drama Ahead!"-quang

Fans of Real Housewives of New York can expect a few surprises in Season 15, according to Erin Lichy.

“This season is highly entertaining and pretty shocking,” she teased on June 27 at the NYC Pride kickoff in Manhattan.

“That’s all I can say,” she added demurely. As far as details about coming events in Season 15, Erin signed a contract requiring her to keep her mouth shut. But it’s okay to drop a few hints to whet viewers’ appetites.

A new cast member

Even though she couldn’t talk much about the show, Erin didn’t hesitate to fangirl over her new castmate, Racquel Chevremont, who was just announced last week. Racquel is an art curator, model, mom of two, and a proud member of the queer community.

“I actually feel more grounded with her on the cast,” Erin told Page Six. “I feel like she has a healthy mindset but also likes to have fun … She’s just been really great. She’s lived such an interesting life, has an incredible career, and she’s amazing.”

In addition to Erin and Racquel, the cast includes returnees Jenna Lyons, Brynn Whitfield, Ubah Hassan, Jessel Taank, and Sai De Silva. Another newbie is also joining the show, designer Rebecca Minkoff.

Thrilled to add more queer representation to RHONY

After her announcement as a new RHONY cast member last week, Racquel said she is proud to add more queer representation to the show. Even though Jenna was the first openly gay cast member, Racquel is excited to be joining her.

“I honestly didn’t think [Bravo] would be interested in me in the end because they already had a queer woman,” she said. “I wasn’t sure if they were going to want two queer women on a franchise that has historically been about married heterosexual women … It was a bold decision and honestly a more authentic representation of NYC.”

All episodes of Real Housewives of New York are streaming on Peacock.
