Eboni K. Williams is starting a new chapter.
On Monday, the “Real Housewives of New York City” alum revealed that she gave birth to her first baby, a daughter, last month.
“Liberty Alexandria Williams,” she wrote on Instagram. “My daughter was born in New York City in August 2024.”
Eboni K. Williams’ first child has arrived.
The “RHONY” alum gave birth to a baby girl.
“Forevermore, I’m changed,” she added. “I’m responsible for ensuring her wellbeing and that Liberty enhances the spaces she occupies. This little girl has been born into significant privilege. Thus, she holds significant responsibility. “
The reality TV star continued, “As her ancestor, Toni Morrison tasked her… Since she has been born free, her birth assignment is to now free somebody else.”
Williams named her little one after “our nation’s famous monument, the Statute of Liberty, originated as a tribute to the newly freed Black American.”
“Born into a nation and at a time such as this…Young Liberty has arrived on divine time,” she wrote.
She named her little one Liberty.
Williams said she is “changed” forever now that she is a mom.
The 40-year-old spoke to People in June about her “miracle” pregnancy four years after undergoing an egg retrieval.
The lawyer conceived with the help of in vitro fertilization and a sperm donation, telling the outlet that she didn’t want to “meet a man and remarry before” becoming a mom “alone.”
She said, “F–k that. I’m not waiting. I’m 40 years old. I’m not waiting to build assets. I’m not waiting to build my career. I’m not waiting to travel. And I’m certainly not waiting to start a family.”
She revealed her pregnancy in June.
The “excited” Bravolebrity gushed that she was as “ready as [she would] ever be” and debuted her baby bump via Instagram.
“Thank you God,” the expectant star captioned a maternity shoot photo at the time. “Abundantly blessed and so excited to welcome my daughter to this world .”
Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey and more Real Housewives celebrated her decision via Instagram with congratulatory comments.
The former reality star previously got married at age 27 to a man whose identity she has yet to reveal.
The exes called it quits after 10 months together.
Williams was subsequently engaged to a mystery fiancé — but the duo broke up four years later during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Williams clarified in a June episode of the “Holding Court” podcast that her donor is willing to be contacted when her daughter turns 18.
“For me, it felt like a much safer choice,” she explained. “It felt like a more legally astute choice. It gives me much less risk and exposure.”
Williams starred on the 13th — and final — season of “RHONY” in 2021 before a new cast took over.
