Joe Giudice requested a pardon from President Donald Trump in an Instagram post shared on Thursday.
Six years after he was sent back to his native Italy after serving a 41-month prison term for charges of bank and wire fraud, the 53-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey alum, who later moved to the Bahamas, issued a plea for Trump, 79, to allow him back in the U.S., along with photos of himself and his four daughters, Gia Giudice, 24, Gabriella Giudice, 21, Milania Giudice, 19, and Audriana Giudice, 15.
“I’m Joe Giudice. I served my time, and I’ve been deported from the U.S. for nearly a decade,” Joe wrote in his June 26 message. “I was raised in Jersey, I’m a father of four amazing daughters, and I just want to be allowed to visit them again.”
“President Trump, I respect you and I’m asking for a second chance,” he added, tagging Trump, as well as his son, Donald Trump Jr., 47.
Following the sharing of the post, Siggy Flicker, 58, who previously starred alongside Joe’s ex-wife, Teresa Giudice, 53, on RHONJ, hinted that she was working to sway the president.
“I’m trying. Joe should be back home with his beautiful daughters!!!!!!” she declared as Joe reacted with several praying emojis.
Milania also shared a comment, stating, “I love you. dad,” which prompted a series of heart emojis from her father.
Gia also weighed in, telling her dad, “I love you,” as he again posted heart emojis.
As for Teresa, she shared a praying emoji and a heart emoji.
Joe’s post came just hours after Teresa confirmed she’d like to see her former spouse back in the country on the June 25 episode of her podcast, Turning the Tables.
“I want him to help me because him living in the Bahamas just ain’t cutting it. [I get] no child support, no nothing, because he says he doesn’t have the money, so it’s like everything’s on me,” she explained.
