The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 will feature both Teresa Giudice and her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, as a production insider reveals why every castmate from the recent season has received an offer.
In season 13, multiple storylines orbited around the family feud. And some viewers grew tired of the drama, which seems to repeat itself season after season.
Despite the rumor that either Melissa or Teresa will be fired, PEOPLE is reporting that all castmates from season 13 will be offered contracts for the new season – which will begin next month.
Melissa, Teresa, Margaret Josephs, Dolores Catania, Jennifer Aydin, Danielle Cabral, and Rachel Fuda were all given verbal offers this week. Jennifer Fessler and Jackie Goldschneider will remain ‘friends.’
As of now, the contracts have not yet arrived.
Speaking with AllAboutTRH, insiders close to production addressed why each of the castmates will return. “The story with everyone isn’t over. Things weren’t resolved during the RHONJ season 13 reunion, and so much was happening that producers want to give it a go and see if everyone can make peace,” said the source.
The insider continued, “Every one of the housewives wanted to come back so it will be interesting for the viewers to see what happens when they all reunite. That is something that should be on camera and how the ultimate decision was made.”
The source also explained, “Producers and Bravo are aware with how divided and toxic things got. While they want to put on a show – they don’t want it to be as bad as it was during season 13. This season may be the final chapter for some of the housewives based on how they react but producers want to see it play out.”
