Joe Gorga Gets Slammed by Fans for “Disgusting” Joke about Dolores Catania at Recent Comedy Show: “Imagine What He’s Saying in Private”

Joe Gorga is getting slammed for a “disgusting” joke about Dolores Catania at a recent comedy show with fellow castmates from Real Housewives of New Jersey. Fans are appalled by his words, with one commenting, “Imagine what he’s saying in private.”

Though Joe and his wife Melissa are assumedly friends with Dolores, he recently called her boyfriend Paul a scumbag. RHONJ is one of the only shows in the Real Housewives franchise that heavily features the husbands’ storylines. Many fans are offended by past comments Joe has made about women on the show, including his own sister Teresa Giudice, with whom he’s now feuding.

On August 17, Joe performed a comedy show at Atlantic City’s Harrah’s Resort.

In one segment, he made a joke about whether the show’s drama is real.

“Yes, unfortunately, it’s all real,” he said, via @RHOReceipts on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“I’m gonna tell you what’s not real,” he went on. “It’s their t**s, their a**es, their teeth, their cheeks, their lips, their hair extensions, and even the cookie– thanks to Dolores.”

Viewers slammed Joe in the comments of the video.

“This is utterly disgusting,” said one user. “It’s not funny or anywhere close to being funny. If he’s saying this in public imagine what he’s saying in private.”

“How dare you use women that have provided you and your family a career,” wrote another. “Try making fun of yourself and your fellow [househusbands] first.”

“This is your friend [Dolores]? I’d be pis*ed off if my [friend’s] husband said this about me,” said a third.

“He is obsessed about talking about other women besides his wife,” wrote a fourth. “Disgusting. Zero class.”

“Does he have a life outside of the housewives?” echoed a fifth fan. “I swear all his jokes relate back to them.”

“Anything to stay relevant. What a tool,” said a sixth. “Mirror, mirror on the wall, Who’s the douchiest of them all? #joeygorga … Don’t get me started on Melissa & Marge … Not a Tre hugger, just rewatched most seasons. Clarified so much.”

“My wife watches most of the Housewives shows and we agree the NJ batch of ‘men’ are far bigger sensitive prima donnas than the gals ever thought of being,” wrote another. “And this particular guy is the worst of the bunch.”
