"RHOM’s Larsa Pippen Spills All: Why Lisa 'Deeply Hurt' Her, Gushes Over Newcomer Stephanie Shojaee, Teases Explosive Season 7, and Reveals Why She'll Never Trash Ex-Husband Scottie!"

Larsa Pippen opened up about her “hurtful” feud with Lisa Hochstein during an interview on Thursday, just one day after the premiere episode of The Real Housewives of Miami saw them at odds over Lisa’s interactions with her ex-boyfriend, Marcus Jordan.

After appearing on Teresa Giudice‘s podcast, where she opened up about her close relationship with ex-husband Scottie Pippen, 59, Larsa, 50, spoke about her rift with Lisa, 42, noting that while she stood by her amid her split from Lenny Hochstein, 58, Lisa failed to step up for her after her breakup from Marcus, 34.

“I was really there for her. With this past breakup of mine, I needed her to be a friend. It just sucks when you are there for someone and it’s not reciprocated. I felt really hurt by it all,” Larsa told Parade on June 12. “When my friends are down and out, I am so there for them. I try to do more than I normally would, because I feel like they need it. I can’t relate … it’s hurtful when other people don’t reciprocate the way that I do.”

During season seven, Larsa said she better saw who her real friends were, and who were her social friends.

“At my age, I’m finally figuring out that you can be social friends with someone, and not necessarily close friends with someone,” she explained.

One person she credits as a real friend is newbie Stephanie Shojaee, 40.

“I love Stephanie, she’s one of my closest friends,” she revealed. “I knew that she would hit it off with most of the girls. We’re very comfortable with each other, and I think when you add a new person to the mix, it definitely changes the dynamics.”

“This season was so much fun,” she continued. “We went on great trips, we had so many good times, made amazing memories. I feel like this season is probably our best season yet. I obviously had some lows, but they were kind of growing pains for me.”

That said, Larsa admitted that it was fun allowing people into her life.

“Showing other women that you can be who you want to be, you can do what you want to do, you don’t have to be just a housewife … I think, to me, that’s the most impactful thing that you can do,” she shared.

Also during the interview, Larsa, who revealed on the premiere that her kids played a role in her decision to call it quits with Marcus, described her children as her “best friends.”

“We make all of our decisions together,” she stated. “If my kids like someone, I feel like I like them more. If they don’t like someone that I’m dating, then I feel like it makes it hard for me to be in that situation.”

As for her chat with Teresa, 53, in regard to her relationship with Scottie, Larsa said that there’s a good reason she doesn’t speak ill of her ex-husband in public.

“I feel like we had a successful relationship. Twenty years is a successful relationship, and we have four amazing kids together. We co-parent together, we talk all the time, I want him to win; he wants me to win. We’re like, really good friends. We’re almost like family. It’s like, you can never be mad at your family, so it’s kind of like that,” she shared on the June 6 episode of Turning the Tables.

Larsa also wouldn’t want to say something negative about Scottie that would impact their children, and admitted to being turned off by people who trash-talk their exes.

“I could never date a guy that bashes his ex-wife or ex-girlfriend. I think that is such a bad quality in a person. And so I could never sit here and bash my ex-husband. That would be so crazy, and it would hurt my kids. It’s just bad energy. I would never do that,” she declared.

The Real Housewives of Miami season seven airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
