Katharina Mazepa revealed she broke up with fiancé Lenny Hochstein and “return[ed] the ring.” Meanwhile, Lisa Hochstein shared that she reconciled with Lenny’s mom Marina Hochstein, after someone’s “mask came off.”
Throughout Lisa’s divorce with Lenny, the Real Housewives of Miami star maintained that he cheated on her with Katharina. And when Lenny left Lisa, Marina initially seemed to take Lisa’s side. Eventually, however, Mariana grew closer to Katharina and seemingly turned her back on Lisa, the mother of Lenny’s two kids. As for Lenny, he’s continually denied that he and Katharina had a secret affair, though a hot-mic moment from a past season suggested otherwise.
Despite Lenny’s publicized engagement with Katharina, the couple broke up in August of last year. They soon got back together, and their plans for a wedding appeared to be going strong.
“After a meaningful chapter together, I’ve made the decision to respectfully end our engagement and return the ring,” said Katharina on Wednesday, in an interview with Page Six. “[I] wasn’t asked to do so [but] insisted [because I] felt it was the right thing to do.”
“[I had] a quiet realization that sometimes love transforms, and letting go with grace is the most dignified path forward,” said Katharina, who revealed that they split “a few months ago.”
Katharina said she wishes him “nothing but peace and fulfillment on his journey,” and she’s “fully focused” on embarking on her “next chapter with intention, independence and presence.”
At the season 7 premiere party on Tuesday, Lisa and Marina told the outlet that they’ve finally reconciled. Marina, in her own interview, expressed: “He’s my son. Although sometimes he could be wrong, but it’s too late to teach him.”
According to Lisa, they “both wanted” to reconcile, and hinted that Marina now has “seen things” that the Bravolebrity has seen the whole time.
“It took her a little longer to see,” said Lisa, who cryptically shared that someone’s “mask came off.”
Lisa and Lenny’s divorce was finalized in November of last year. New episodes of The Real Housewives of Miami air Wednesdays on Bravo.
