Lisa Hochstein seemingly accused her husband Lenny Hochstein of having a “staged engagement” with girlfriend Katharina Mazepa, and she claimed they were “already engaged” prior to the allegedly set-up proposal.
Around the same time, Lenny accused the Real Housewives of Miami star of creating a “false victim narrative,” insisted there was “no cheating” with Katharina before he asked for the divorce, and reacted to his mother’s recent diss against Lisa.
In an Instagram comment shared by @byewighellodrama, Lisa responded to a Page Six report that Lenny had “anxiety” before his proposal to Katharina.
“How did he have anxiety when they were already engaged prior to this staged engagement?” wrote Lisa, who made sure to add “allegedly.”
Meanwhile, Lenny made a few accusations of his own in an interview with Us Weekly.
“I want to clear up some things. For two years prior to telling Lisa I wanted a divorce, my life was miserable. I was treated like a servant, not a partner,” he said. “I was nothing more than an ATM machine to her; funding her party lifestyle and her constant need for more material things.”
Lenny claimed he told Lisa “many times” that he wanted a divorce amid the two years of unhappiness.
“She didn’t care,” he went on. “We [hadn’t had] a husband-wife relationship since 2021, and in 2022 we were living in separate bedrooms. I made the decision that we were getting divorced but wanted to wait until filming [for The Real Housewives of Miami] ended. Mentally I was already checked out. She was typically staying out partying until 4 or 5 a.m. on a regular basis, but that day she did not come home until 8 a.m. It was the last straw.”
The plastic surgeon also denied his wife’s claims that Katharina was his ‘mistress.’
“There was no cheating,” said Lenny. “Kat was never a mistress … I told [Lisa] that we were going to get divorced and that I was going to start seeing other people. … I’m tired of Lisa’s false victim narrative. She’s no victim. She’s a selfish, self-centered person who cares about nothing past herself. Not me, not the children. Absolutely nothing.”
He also said Lisa started seeing “a guy named Scott who she used to work for” not long after the split. She’s now dating entrepreneur Jody Glidden.
After Lenny revealed the engagement, Lenny’s mom Mariana commented, “I will be very happy that this time you are getting a woman who love [sic] and respect you …You certainly did not have that in your previous marriage. Good luck congratulations.”
In his Us Weekly interview, Lenny said he “didn’t like what [his] mother said,” but he claimed, “she knows the real Lisa and she was trying to protect her son. I’m not going to fault her.”
