Real Housewives of Dubai’s Caroline Stanbury clapped back at Caroline Brooks’ claim that Stanbury’s friend Michael is her “sugar daddy” who pays for everything, and Stanbury suggested that Brooks was “talking about herself.”
Earlier this month, Brooks alleged that she ran into Michael when he was drunk in Dubai. According to Brooks, he told her that Stanbury’s husband Sergio needs to step up because Michael pays for everything, including her bills and clothes.
In earlier episodes of the current season, Stanbury was temporarily staying at Michael’s place while she built her new home.
“[Stanbury] what are your thoughts on Brooks saying that Michael pays your bills?” asked a fan on X, via @bravosnarkside on Instagram.
“These are my thoughts… I think someone maybe talking about herself,” answered Stanbury.
Addressing the ‘sugar daddy’ claims, Stanbury posted a series of videos joking about it with Michael.
“That time Michael flew me to Paris…” wrote Stanbury above a video of Michael in bed with a doll, meant to be Stanbury, wearing a neck pillow.
“And treated me to couture week 😂,” Stanbury went on above a video of Michael drinking champagne with a Barbie.
“Front row of Givenchy no less,” she wrote above another video of the same doll at a fashion show.
In a recent interview for Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, Brooks alleged that she ran into Stanbury’s friend on a night out.
“Michael was super drunk and just started spilling,” said Brooks at the time. “Because Michael was really angry at Sergio. And he’s like, ‘I pay all the bills in that house. I pay for everything’ … Michael claims he buys all her clothes. He buys everything.”
“He was saying it in a way [of] like angry with Sergio,” she went on. “Saying that Sergio needs to step up and take care of her because right now it’s all on [Michael].”
According to Brooks, castmate Chanel Ayan was with her at the time, and she witnessed Michael’s claims.
