RHOD Alum Kameron Westcott Slams Katy Perry Amid Her $6 Million Lawsuit Against Terminally Ill Father-in-Law, Accuses Her and Orlando Bloom of Being "Greedy" and "Horrible" as He Faces "Last" Days, Plus How Prince Harry Was Dragged Into Case

Kameron Westcott‘s terminally ill father-in-law, Carl Westcott, may have hoped to “spend his last days” in his $15 million, 9,285-square-foot Montecito mansion. But unfortunately, the home’s new owners, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, have taken over and are demanding $6 million from him.

As the bedridden Carl, 85, who suffers from dementia and Huntington’s disease, remains in hospice, where he has “good and bad days,” the 42-year-old Real Housewives of Dallas alum is putting Katy, 40, and Orlando, 48, on blast amid their legal battle against him, accusing them of being “greedy” and suggesting they are acting as “predators.”

“They are not backing down,” Kameron said during an interview with the Daily Mail on February 27. “There’s never a negotiation. They want to go through with it, and you know, for us, we want to be done with this … We want to focus on my father-in-law’s health. We want to be with him and have the last few days peaceful. This is the last thing we want to deal with.”

As RHOD fans may have heard, Carl went into contract in 2020 to sell his mansion to Katy for $15 million — just a couple of months after moving in. However, shortly thereafter, he claimed he had been under the influence of opioids after undergoing back surgery when the deal was made. Right away, Katy’s real estate agents shot down his request to void the deal and Katy filed a lawsuit against him.

While the family argued that the deal should’ve never been made due to Carl’s mental state, a judge in Los Angeles ruled in favor of Katy, who was named as the legal owner of the home in 2023 and given the keys in 2024.

One year later, Katy and Orlando are still battling the retired U.S. Army veteran turned 1-800-Flowers entrepreneur, demanding Carl pay them $6 million for the repairs needed on the home and for potential back rent they could’ve been charging tenants.

“It’s heartbreaking that someone can be so greedy, and it’s heartbreaking that someone has no heart. I mean, I hope this never happens to her parents. It breaks your heart, and I just wish that they had a little more compassion on the situation, and I wouldn’t even wish this on her family. I wish it on no one’s family, and I hope no one else has to go through this,” Kameron shared.

Although Katy and Orlando wrote a letter of thanks to Carl after purchasing his home, Kameron suspected their gratitude was “bogus.”

“I knew it was just a way to get him to pass the house over to [Katy], and I knew right away that [living in the home] was not their intent,” she admitted.

According to Kameron, her father-in-law never really wanted to leave the home.

“He wanted to be at rest in the place that he loves, and that’s his favorite place,” she revealed. “He wanted to be at peace and have his family around, and we wanted to fill those wishes for him. That’s why we decided to fight for him and protect him.”

As Carl spends his last days in a memory care facility in Dallas, where the family can easily visit, Kameron’s husband, Court Westcott, and brother-in-law, Chart Westcott, have taken over the legal battle.

“We just want to be there for him and make sure he’s comfortable in his final few days or months. Every day is different. We just don’t know … It’s extremely awful,” he explained. “I do hope this is a good example for so many people out there to protect your parents. Make sure you know what is always going on and protect them at all times because there are predators out there, and they can be taken advantage of.”

At the parties’ August trial, Katy will have to provide evidence regarding her $6 million damages claim, and Orlando could be forced to testify as well since he reportedly sought “experts” to inspect the property.

Even Prince Harry has been dragged into the case after Chart sent a letter to him, requesting he remove Katy from the lineup of performers at the Invictus Games, which benefitted wounded and sick veterans and members.

“As our father’s health declines, my brother and I are fighting to preserve his legacy, as a man and as a veteran, yet this legal struggle has become a source of immense pain for our family,” Chart explained.

As for what she would say to Katy and Orlando, Kameron confessed, “I actually have nothing to say to them.”

“I just hope that this doesn’t happen to them one day, and I wouldn’t even wish it on them like. That’s how horrible it is, and I hope that they can open their eyes and see that,” she stated. “I don’t wish harm on anyone, but I really wish that they just have more compassion within themselves, and really think about things that they do that can affect other people and other people’s families.”
