Kelly Dodd suspects she’ll be fired ahead of the upcoming 16th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
In a series of Instagram comments, the often-controversial reality star said that she believes she’ll be axed for her “beliefs” while Braunwyn Windham-Burke, who admitted to offering drugs to Shannon Beador‘s teen daughter during the season 15 reunion, will likely be asked to return.
“They better not fire you, people are fed up with the cancel culture,” a fan wrote in a comment on Kelly’s latest post.
“It’s likely to happen,” Kelly replied of her potentially impending exit from the show.
“You got fired for questioning masks and supporting Trump?! Braunwyn admits to trying to get a 14-year-old drugs and she’s given Kleenex?” another fan asked, adding that Braunwyn “should be gone!”
“Pretty much,” Kelly confirmed.
A third person accused Braunwyn of being a narcissist and said she feels “bad for her husband,” Sean Burke.
“What about her kids?” Kelly asked.
As RHOC viewers continued to weigh in on the events of the season, Kelly received a message from a fan who applauded her for calling out “the woke” and the “peaceful protestors” for their alleged hypocrisy, and they thanked her for putting a spotlight on the struggles of small businesses.
“Thank you for speaking something other than the narrative,” the fan said.
In response, Kelly said she will be fired from the show because her producer prefers Braunwyn.
“I’m fired assured because of my beliefs look at [Thomas Kelly‘s] Instagram. He’s my producer and claims [Braunwyn Windham-Burke],” Kelly alleged.
In another series of comments, Kelly reacted to a fan who said she agreed with her on her stance on COVID-19 and the race wars.
“[I] loved your hat,” the woman wrote, giving a nod to Kelly’s offensive “Drunk Wives Matter” hat.
“That in no way shape or form makes you racist! And the nonsensical rules regarding COVID are idiotic,” the person continued. “You having your wedding was completely reasonable when there is a virus with a 99.9% recovery rate. Like people have for all times with previous weddings or any event for that matter. Don’t apologize or try to justify your rational common sense views to people who literally seem to have lost all rationale.”
“Amen,” Kelly agreed.
Then, after a fan pointed out that Kelly has “white privilege” because she likely isn’t afraid she “will get killed” during a traffic stop and said she needs to “be canceled,” Kelly explained why she believes she is not privileged.
“I’m not privileged… I grew up on [the] west side of Phoenix,” she shared.
The 15th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County came to an end on Wednesday night with the conclusion of the two-part reunion.
