Known as Kaiichu, Katie has four children to look after while juggling filming for The Real Housewives of Orange County. She joined the show as Gina Kirschenheiter’s friend – and is already causing chaos!

Katie Ginella is a mother to famous Twitch streamer, Kaiichu, who has 20K followers on the platform. Over on Instagram, Kai has over 93K followers and plays mostly Val and league on Twitch.
The gamer, who attends anime events, has a bio that reads, “Hi my name is Kai! Because everyone asks, I’m Korean, Japanese, and White. AND I am 5 FEET 8 INCHES TALL. 20 yrs I play mostly Val and league!”
Her full name is Kailu and she shares the same birthday as the RHOC star. On April 29, the mother-daughter duo celebrated by making a visit to Waffle House – Katie’s favorite – with their family.
RHOC star has a ‘wonderful family’
Katie calls her children her “four angels” after first falling pregnant with her first kid as a teenager. She previously worked as a sports and golf reporter, which is how she met her current husband.
She wrote of her husband, “Matt gives our kids someone to look up to, respect and honor. From day 1 he never wavered in his dedication to our family. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for him in our lives.”

When Kai’s Twitch followers noticed her mother is on RHOC, they called Katie “crazy”. As soon as the trailer dropped, they immediately recognised Katie for her presence on Kai’s socials.
A fan wrote, “Is that the famous twitch streamer Kaiichu_’s mom at 1:03,” while another said, “damn mama Kaiichu.” A Twitch user penned, “The Asian housewife is Kaiichu / Kaiichu’s mom crazy.”
