Emily Simpson says the conclusion of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” Season 19 is one for the books.
In an exclusive interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea,” the reality star, 49, tells co-hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy why filming the upcoming finale made her feel uneasy.
“It was awkward. It was an awkward ending,” she says. “I’m never at a loss for words and I usually can assess the situation and have an opinion … I didn’t even know really want to say. It was very awkward.”
Emily Simpson teases the forthcoming “Real Housewives of Orange County” Season 19 reunion during a chat with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea.”
Simpson, pictured here with her castmates, describes it as an “awkward ending.”
The typically outspoken Bravolebrity adds, “I was uncomfortable.”
Simpson says that the events that unfold later this season left the group of women — also including Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador, Heather Dubrow, Gina Kirschenheiter, Jennifer Pedranti, Katie Ginella and “friend of” the cast Gretchen Rossi — a bit “fractured.”
“I would say it fractured the group, but not in a way where we’re not friends,” she teases. “It fractured the group in a way where we’re all confused and I don’t think we know exactly our position or where to go with it.”
Simpson, seen here with Heather Dubrow, says the events that unfolded left the group of ladies a bit “fractured.”
“It fractured the group in a way where we’re all confused,” she explains.
Simpson says she hopes to find answers when the “RHOC” ladies film the reunion — but isn’t certain any clarity will ever come about.
“I don’t know if you can get answers … I feel like it was something that if you could get answers [to], then I would have done that. I would have tried! In some we, we would have solidified it, figured it out and had a very straight answer,” says the attorney.
“I just feel like it was very gray and convoluted and confusing.”
“RHOC” mainstay Tamra Judge told us that the finale, in her opinion, is “very dark” and left some ladies in tears.
Simpson has starred on the unscripted Bravo show since 2018’s Season 13.
Meanwhile, Simpson’s co-star Judge, 57, recently told “Virtual Reali-Tea” that the finale was “very dark” and “explosive,” noting that it left everyone involved “in shock.” She said that it left some in tears even.
“Some people are crying,” she shared. “Some are just in disbelief.”
“The Real Housewives of Orange County” airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo with new episodes available to stream the next day on Peacock.
