Braunwyn Windham-Burke is being accused of ending the marriage of her reported new girlfriend, Fernanda Rocha, and leaving her family feeling “really hurt.”
According to a new report, Fernanda, who appeared on The Real Housewives of Orange County alongside friend Tamra Judge years ago, was married to wife Tessa Rocha when she and the mother-of-seven allegedly began dating.
In Tessa’s divorce filing, which was made on January 13, 2021, and obtained by The Sun, Tessa sought “dissolution without child” after spending the past six years with Fernanda.
According to the report, Tessa made her filing after Fernanda, a personal trainer, reportedly “cheated” with Braunwyn after initially striking up a friendship with her in October 2020, months before she officially “came out.”
The new couple “became friends through Tamra [Judge]” in the fall before they “escalated into a sexual relationship” shortly after. This occurred while Fernanda and Tessa were still married, a source close to the ex-couple revealed.
While Fernanda and Tessa are currently in the midst of “divorce proceedings,” Fernanda has not yet responded to her wife’s filing.
The separation has “been really hard because it’s been really public, and it’s been shameless on their part,” the insider explained of Braunwyn and Fernanda’s reported “sexual relationship,” noting that Fernanda may be out for fame.
“Fernanda has always wanted to be famous. She’s always needed the limelight. She had some regrets about her prior stint on the show. I don’t think she got good ratings or drama, and I think that really bothered her,” the source continued. “[And] I think Braunwyn has needed better ratings too. Braunwyn has stayed silent on their relationship even though they’re very serious.”
Although the insider went on to say that they don’t believe Braunwyn, who is in an open marriage to husband Sean Burke, the father of her seven children, knew Fernanda was “in a relationship when they started dating,” Tamra, who knows Fernanda quite well, told Jeff Lewis the two women had been “hanging out a lot” during an April appearance on his SiriusXM Radio show.
“I don’t know if she’s dating Fernanda. This is a new one, [but] they’ve been hanging out a lot,” she disclosed.
Braunwyn and Fernanda first sparked rumors of a romance in December 2020 when Braunwyn commented, “Hotness,” on one of her rumored girlfriend’s Instagram photos. Months later, they were seen vacationing together in Miami.
