RHOC Alum David Beador’s Wife Lesley Dismisses Divorce Request After Extortion Claims & Restraining Order Drama as Details Are Revealed

RHOC Alum David Beador's Wife Lesley Dismisses Divorce Request After Attending Marriage Therapy Following Abuse and Extortion ClaimsDavid Beador and his wife, Lesley Beador, appear to have reconciled following a number of shocking claims against one another, including allegations of verbal abuse against David and accusations of extortion against Lesley.

Months after the couple parted ways, with Lesley, 41, requesting a restraining order against the 59-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County alum, who was previously married to Shannon Beador, 60, Lesley’s petition for the dissolution of their four-year marriage has been dismissed.

According to court documents filed on October 23 and obtained by In Touch Weekly on November 20, David and Lesley agreed to attend marriage therapy following her latest divorce filing in September. And weeks later, on November 14, her request for divorce was dismissed.

As RHOC fans may recall, Lesley filed for divorce from David after she was granted a temporary restraining order against him after accusing him of being verbally abusive and creating a hostile environment for her and their three-year-old daughter, Anna.

Lesley also stated that David had an “outburst” when her former partner, Eriks Pukke, arrived at their Newport Beach home to pick up her two older kids, yelling “all kinds of obscenities at Eriks while he waited in his car with the window up.”

“All the children were present and witnesses [David’s] behavior toward Eriks. It was very scary. I recorded this whole incident and will provide the videos to the court,” Lesley alleged. “All my children are terrified by David’s behavior.”

Lesley went on to suggest that David had accused her of cheating.

“After this incident I received about 59 harassing texts from [David] in a row telling me I was ‘having sex with him,’ ‘I should go have sex with him,’ and was accusing me of all kinds of things that could never be possible. [David] truly needs help. He gets in an obsessive mania state,” she suggested. “I never know when [David’s] next meltdown will be or how long they will last. These meltdowns when they occur are nonstop, even when he is working and they cause me to live in fear and to worry about the effect on the children.”

Following the allegations, David issued a response, accusing Lesley of making claims against him when she didn’t get her way.

“Lesley routinely tells me I am abusive when I disagree with her or make my opinions known. She has a habit of texting me consistently for hours at a time, trying to spark a reaction out of me. I believe Lesley is angry because I cut off the unlimited spending ability on her credit cards over the weekend,” he explained. “This is pure extortion and it is again what she is doing in this attempt. She is upset because I cancelled her credit card with unlimited spending. I am not required to sustain her lifestyle.”

David and Lesley have been married since October 2020.
