RHOBH’s Mauricio Umansky Says He Still Loves Kyle Richards Amid Separation

Though Mauricio Umansky and Kyle Richards have been separated since 2023, it’s clear there’s still a deep connection between the longtime couple. In a recent interview with TMZ, Mauricio candidly discussed where things stand today between him and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star.

“We talk all the time,” Mauricio said, confirming that even amid their separation, they’ve managed to maintain open lines of communication. He didn’t shy away from expressing how he truly feels either: “I love her.”

Despite the challenges that come with any separation, the family seems to be navigating it with grace—and even a bit of humor. Earlier this month, Mauricio and Kyle reunited with their three oldest daughters for a night out in Los Angeles during Mother’s Day weekend. The family outing suggests that while the romantic chapter of their marriage may be paused (or possibly over), the family bond remains strong.

Mauricio also shared a lighthearted moment involving Kyle and a surprise visitor at their La Quinta home. During the Stagecoach 2025 festival, Kyle encountered a snake at the house and immediately called Mauricio for help. The incident was captured on daughter Sophia Umansky’s TikTok, where Kyle can be seen talking to her estranged husband on the phone. “I thought it was hilarious,” Mauricio said, adding, “I wasn’t nearby then.”

While Mauricio appears optimistic and open-hearted, Kyle has taken a more introspective tone. During Part 3 of the RHOBH Season 14 reunion, she reflected on the reasons behind their split. “I know he regrets things that have happened that got us to this place,” Kyle said, but she admitted uncertainty about whether reconciliation is in the cards: “I don’t know if he wants to get back together because he has never said that.”

Kyle also acknowledged her own role in the breakdown of their relationship. “I mean, I have regrets from allowing… for both of us allowing us to get to this place,” she said. “I wish that we had communicated better when things started bubbling up.” Mauricio has since been spotted partying, and making out with several different women.

While the future of their relationship remains uncertain, one thing is clear: there is still mutual love, and a shared commitment to their family. Whether or not that leads to a romantic reconciliation, time will tell.
