On the premiere episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 12, Garcelle Beauvais made a promise to Erika Jayne: She wouldn’t question her about her legal struggles.
Garcelle’s pledge came on the heels of an entire season of Erika getting interrogated by her castmates over and over until fans began to wonder if they were watching Groundhog Day. But is Garcelle truly finished playing ’20 questions?’ Did she stick to her word?
According to Erika, the answer is no.
“It was a relief [when Garcelle said she would stop],” said the pop singer in an interview with Page Six. “But no, she didn’t [keep her promise].”
“And of course, that’s really what you see also in the teaser [for the rest of the season],” she continued, alluding to the tense arguments she shares with Garcelle, Crystal Kung Minkoff, and Sutton Stracke. “It goes on and on.”
Erika, however, seemed unbothered by Garcelle’s shady comments in the confessional interviews (when she downplayed Erika’s optimism about the lawsuits and said her costar was in denial).
“Sometimes reactions are expected out of certain people,” explained Erika. “It’s disappointing if I didn’t think that it would happen … [Sometimes] you’ve been around someone long enough to know exactly where they’re going.”
“I came to this positive place through sheer will and not giving up and not quitting and not being beat. I refuse to be beat,” said Erika. “So when she says ‘denial,’ I’m not quite sure what she means. I’m not quite sure that she knows what she means.”
Although Erika’s relationship with Garcelle continues to plummet, her friendship with Sutton took a seemingly strange turn.
On Wednesday — the day of the premiere (when Sutton slammed Erika’s preference for rich men) — Erika received a gift from her castmate in the mail: a peach cobbler crepe cake.
That’s not all, apparently. The special delivery included some beautiful flowers and a Diptyque Baies scented candle, according to Bravo Style & Living.
Erika posted photos of the gifts on her Instagram and wrote, “Thank you @SuttonStracke” with heart emojis. She added, “Omg yummy!!”

Sutton is collaborating with Lady M, the boutique that made the cake. It’s nice to know she’s willing to drop the feud — at least for a small moment to promote her own product.
