RHOBH Star Kyle Richards Teases Her “Biggest Breakdown in 14 Years” as Erika Jayne Talks Kyle vs Dorit Kemsley, Plus Producer Sheds New Light on Kathy Hilton’s “Intense” Drama in Aspen

Kyle Richards will soon be seen having her “biggest breakdown in 14 years” on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

While teasing the upcoming episodes of season 14 with her co-stars, including Dorit Kemsley, 48, Erika Jayne, 53, Sutton Stracke, 53, Garcelle Beauvais, 58, and Bozoma Saint John, 47, Kyle, the only remaining original cast member of the series, reflected on the “twists and turns” of the season as she also looked back on Kathy Hilton‘s infamous meltdown in Aspen with one of her producers.

“We all have our moments. I’m surprised it’s taken me 14 years to get to my breaking point,” Kyle admitted to In Touch Weekly on December 5. “You’ll definitely see me have probably my biggest breakdown in 14 years. I just didn’t feel strong enough to handle what was being thrown at me.”

Along with “twists and turns,” Kyle said viewers will see “some friendships change and some new ones form” on season 14, as well as growth.

“I’ve learned a lot about myself. I’m strong and resilient. I’m enjoying the growth and I know I can take on anything that comes!” she declared.

Meanwhile, Dorit said there was a “new energy” between the cast, noting that it made things “refreshing and exciting” as Garcelle teased “glamour, fun, and drama” and Erika revealed she’s on a journey to “building [her] new life.”

“My interiors are refreshed and updated, and my career is blossoming — but I’m caught in between two good friends fighting,” she revealed, giving a nod to Kyle and Dorit’s ongoing feud.

Also speaking of Kyle and Dorit’s tension, Garcelle said the women were both “coming from a hurt place and [feeling] betrayed” as Erika said she did her best to be a good friend to each of them amid their hard times.

According to Sutton, the relationships of the women “zig and zag,” but one moment in particular stood out to her as her favorite.

“One thing I’ve loved most about this season are my down-to-earth moments with Kyle,” she shared.

Then, after Bozoma revealed she brought “bad*ssery” to the cast, the ladies were questioned about who brought the most drama, with Dorit naming Sutton, Garcelle saying Dorit, Bozoma pointing to Kyle and Dorit, and Sutton calling out Dorit.

“She’s going through a lot of spousal drama that leaks its way into our group,” Sutton shared of Dorit, who is in the midst of a separation from Paul “PK” Kemsley, 57.

Looking back at the start of the season, Dorit said she went into filming committed to “being very open, honest and vulnerable.”

“I was committed to sharing whatever was happening with PK and I in a very transparent way,” she explained.

In other Kyle Richards news, she recently interviewed co-executive producer Craig Turner, who described Kathy’s Aspen blowup as the “craziest, most intense moment” of RHOBH filming.

“Aspen was definitely up there as one of the craziest moments,” Turner said in a BravoTV.com clip. “Obviously, we all know what happened in Aspen. I was one of the only producers with the showrunner at the time, John Carr, who came down and met all of you at the Caribou Club, which is when the start of it happened. So as I was walking into the club, ‘Aspen-gate’ began.”

Turner was understandably regretful that the cameras weren’t rolling when the drama played out.

“We had got everything that we needed to get. Like, it was a wrap. We were coming to have a quick drink. And then, bam,” he recalled. “I don’t think people realize how intense trips are. There are literally 24-hour days — we wake up with you in bed, we go to bed with you … a trip is intense and you spend so much time together.”

When Kyle then mentioned the group’s upcoming trip to Saint Lucia, Turner spoke of an “end moment at the end of the trip.”

“We were tired, we were emotional, the heavens open, we carried on dancing, the fireworks are going off,” he revealed.

“When you see it on camera, you’ll probably just think it looks like we’re just celebrating, but the other side of it is what we’re experiencing as a cast and crew,” Kyle replied. “And seeing that and seeing how hard everybody works, you really feel in that moment that we’re all such a team here, coming together.”

“I think that’s a trip that people are gonna really enjoy,” Turner added.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
