Instagram isn’t happy with Lisa Rinna.
Just months after the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member’s oldest daughter, Delilah Hamlin, 23, admitted to suffering an accidental overdose on prescription drugs and shared details about her Xanax dependency, Lisa, 58, posed with a giant pill bag given to her by supermodel Cindy Crawford, 56.
“I love my new bag,” Lisa wrote in the caption of an Instagram Story, via Heavy, in which she tagged Cindy and thanked her for the gift.
A short time later, Bravo and Cocktails questioned the meaning behind the image on their own Instagram page.
“Maybe it’s just me but seeing as how one of her daughters is working on her sobriety following a pill addiction this isn’t the best thing to joke about?! Wtf!” their post stated.
The page then proceeded to poll their audience about whether or not Lisa was “vile” or a “supportive mom,” and a whopping 95 percent voted that Lisa’s photo was “vile.”
According to Heavy, Lisa previously took part in a photoshoot in which she was seen holding a large briefcase with an assortment of pills. And when an Instagram account recently reshared an image from that shoot, their online followers were quite vocal with their disgust.
“Wow … you really don’t think do you?” one person asked after seeing the controversial image.
“Always so inappropriate,” a second agreed.
“Not a great idea,” added a third, who gave a nod to Delilah’s health.
Others said that Lisa is always “trying to stay relevant” and accused her of failing to “care about anyone.”
“She’s vile,” one noted.
“Bad form. You will come out with a fantastic explanation but we know you. Sometimes enough is enough,” shared someone else.
“Lowest of lows. You will do anything to stay relevant even if it’s at the expense of your daughter who needs your support not this,” another added.
At the end of last year, after going public with her overdose, Delilah took to her TikTok page, where she said she wanted her “parents to pay for [her] trauma therapy.” Days later, an insider said there was a rift between Lisa and Delilah after the RHOBH cast member allegedly encouraged Delilah to start paying for things on her own.
“Delilah’s video might’ve been a moment of frustration or might’ve been after a heated argument with her parents… [She] wouldn’t have posted it and aired her issues with her parents if they weren’t real,” an insider told Us Weekly, adding that Lisa and Harry Hamlin’s “parenting affects her and she gets upset about certain things.”
