Lisa Vanderpump is speaking out after Dorit Kemsley said she didn’t hear a “word” from her former friend after being robbed at gunpoint at the end of last year.
Following Dorit’s recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, which came after the aftermath of the robbery aired on the premiere episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa took to Twitter, where she proved she did reach out to the Kemsleys, via Dorit’s husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley.
“Setting record straight… Of course I reached out to PK! And yes …after accident not a word… from any of them …but that’s ok, I had pillars of support,” Lisa tweeted on May 11, seemingly giving a nod to her recent horse-riding accident, which left her with a broken leg.
During Wednesday’s episode of WWHL, Dorit was asked if Lisa had reached out after learning about her home invasion. And, in response, Dorit told host Andy Cohen, “No. Not a word.”
But in a text message sent to PK and shared on Lisa’s Twitter page, Lisa was seen writing, “I’m so sorry to hear what transpired glad that you’re all safe.”
As the tweets continued, Lisa made it clear that she reached out — and noted that she did not hear back from PK, after a story from Reality Blurb about Dorit’s comments was shared by the BrightlyAgain Twitter account.
“Not true…they didn’t reply,” Lisa confirmed.
“Fact…I reached out…they didn’t reply,” she wrote in a third tweet.
In the years since Lisa exited her role on RHOBH, mainly due to the fact that she was accused of planting a negative story about Dorit supposedly abandoning a dog she adopted from her rescue center, she and the Kemsleys have feuded often, which PK recently joked about his former castmate’s “moaning” and Dorit suggesting Lisa frequently trash-talks the cast for “attention.”
Dorit also discussed Lisa during a podcast interview last summer, claiming that Lisa doesn’t just talk badly about her publicly.
“She’s made her position very, very clear, and that’s been outside of publicly how she talks about us, even intimately to our friends, how she feels about PK and I and how she’s really not interested in a friendship. And that’s all I need to know,” Dorit explained. “I would have loved for us to have been able to find a way to rekindle a friendship or to move past any animosity. I would have done that with Lisa. But it’s not what she wants.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 12 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
