Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta feels fresh and energized. And at the center of the friend group is Shamea Morton. Once Porsha Williams’ bestie, Shamea now has her own peach. And she has attracted plenty of attention, with Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania weighing in on the newbie.
RHOA newbie Shamea Morton’s wealth could make her one to watch
During the Season 16 premiere of RHOA, Shamea’s wealth was on display. She lives in a $9 million home, dubbed Sterling Hall. And at her birthday party, she received a Rolls Royce from her husband, Gerald Mwangi. Hopefully, this return to wealth and extravagance will translate into a bump in RHOA’s ratings.
However, Shamea and Gerald have faced some difficult health challenges with their daughter, Shiloh Mwangi. Shiloh was born prematurely via surrogate and suffered from choanal atresia. This birth defect is rare and blocks the infant’s nasal passages. Now Shiloh is doing much better, and receiving therapy for walking and breathing treatments.
Well, Tamra Judge and Dolores couldn’t miss a chance to talk about Shamea. During the podcast, Two Ts in a Pod, Tamra stated, “Shamea now … this girl is a rich b*tch.”
Dolores chimed in, “I was yelling at Paul [Connell]. I’m like, ‘You’re an electrical contractor. Where’s the HVAC?’” Then Tamra weighed in on an unfortunate intestinal incident that occurred during Shamea’s first date with Gerald. “Any girl that talks about sh*tting on the first date is my type of girl. And getting a Rolls Royce. Damn, I’m jealous now,” Tamra stated.
“She blew his bathroom up on the first date. He didn’t even care that she sh*t her brains out on the first date,” Dolores said as both ladies laughed. As for Shamea’s role on RHOA? “She really seemed like she’s anchoring this group of girls,” Tamra said.
However, Dolores made an interesting observation. “She’s on nobody’s schedule, and she don’t need anybody’s paycheck,” the RHONJ star said. “Those are the most dangerous, dangerous girls.”
