RHOA Alum Eva Marcille Joins New Peacock Reality Show

Eva Marcille new reality show

Although Eva Marcille left The Real Housewives of Atlanta in 2020, she’s maintained a consistent presence on TV ever since. Whether it’s a scripted show or a reality TV project, Eva stays booked. Her latest adventure is taking her to Vietnam for a girls trip. It might not be an “ultimate girls trip,” but it looks just as fun.

Peacock just announced a brand-new show from Will Packer, the mind behind the hit comedy Girls Trip. The series is called Eat Slay Love, and it follows a group of friends (who all happen to be celebs) on a trip to Vietnam.

Peacock’s new show is a three-episode mini-series following Grammy-nominated singer Nivea, who also appeared on Season 1 of Queens Court, Peacock’s dating reality show. For her 41st birthday, Nivea assembled a group of friends for a trip to Vietnam to take a break from the real world and help “rejuvenate themselves.”

“I would consider the four ingredients of a good girls trip to be us,” Nivea teases in the trailer.

She continues, “You’ve got the funny one (comedian London Hughes), you’ve got the emotional one (Eva), the fashionista (Tammy Rivera from Love & Hip Hop), and you got me: the crazy one! And we’re heading to Vietnam for my birthday!”

That said, it’s not just a trip about Nivea’s birthday. All of the women have their own reasons for needing a break from the real world. In the trailer, Eva explained that she needed a getaway to help her process her divorce from Michael Sterling. The two split in 2023.

“I flew across the world to escape all of what my heart is going through,” Eva said in the trailer. “I was not prepared.”

Of course, it wouldn’t be a reality TV vacation without a little bit of drama. There might only be three episodes of this show, but Tammy and London butt heads in the teaser. Of all people, it looks like Eva is the one to intervene.

“I’m literally watching my girls trip go down the drain.” Nivea bemoans in the trailer.

In an attempt to smooth things over, Eva calls out, “London, we didn’t come here for that!”

Will the ladies get their trip back on track? Let’s hope so. Nivea said she’s amid a “spiritual awakening.” Bickering can’t stop that!

Eat Slay Love premieres on Peacock on Thursday, November 7.
