Respected Rangers insider under fire for brutally disrespecting Chris Kreider amidst imminent trade

   

Over the last few days, several reports emerged of a potential deal with Chris Kreider heading to Anaheim in exchange for top prospect, and a second-round pick heading back to the Rangers.Rangers' Chris Kreider grateful to be returning to playoffs

According to reports, It appears that Anaheim Ducks top prospect Carey Terrance along with the second round pick would head to the Rangers in exchange for Chris Kreider and his entire 6.5 million per season contract.
The 20-year-old centre who stands at 6 foot 1 and 187 lbs was selected by the Anaheim Ducks in 2023, second round 59th overall. A resident of Akwesasne New York was a key member of Team USA when they won the IIHF world junior championship this year.
 
Terrance has been a member of the OHL's Erie Otters since 2021 where his best year was in 2023-2024 where he played 56 games, scoring 29 goals with 23 assists for 52 points.This past season he had only played 45 games, scoring 20 goals with 19 assists for 39 points and had 14 penalty minutes.
However, as things have kind of slowed down around the trade, many have been sharing their opinions on the situation as Kreider has been a member of the New York Rangers ever since he was drafted by them in 2009 and has since played 13 seasons with the organization.

During his time with the Blueshirts, Krieder has truly made a name for himself in New York. However, despite his impressive stats in Rangers history, respected Rangers insider Larry Brooks believes Kreider's number wont be retired if he leaves the organization, and many fans don't agree with that.
