Report: Larsa Pippen’s Ex Marcus Jordan Admits Substance Abuse Problem After DUI Arrest-quang

Real Housewives of Miami star and ex-wife of Scottie Pippen, Larsa Pippen, and Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus Jordan, ended their on/off relationship last March. In the time since, Marcus made the news more than once for incidents involving drugs.

Now, Marcus is coming clean about his struggles with substance abuse. This comes just weeks after he was busted for DUI and drug possession.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports, Marcus and his legal team revealed he’s been having “challenges” related to alcohol and substance use. He’s asking a judge to let him complete a Pre-Trial Substance Abuse Education and Treatment Intervention Program to help him get back on track.

His lawyers say the program wouldn’t “only benefit him personally but also serve the community by reducing the likelihood of future offenses.” They added that Marcus “is amenable to treatment.”

If the judge approves the request, Marcus will waive his right to a speedy trial. So far, no hearing date has been set.

Marcus is currently facing three charges. One is a felony for ketamine possession. He was also slapped with two misdemeanors: DUI with property damage and resisting an officer. He pleaded not guilty to all three in early February.

On February 4, cops say they found Marcus and his Lamborghini Urus stuck on railroad tracks around 1 a.m. in Maitland, Florida. According to their report, officers arrested him after he showed clear signs of intoxication. He also failed multiple sobriety tests. Later, body cam footage surfaced showing Marcus arguing with the officers.

It’s also worth noting that in August of last year, Marcus was spotted allegedly holding a white powder in France.

Marcus’ only public comment came on February 6. He posted on Instagram that he was focusing on his sneaker store, The Trophy Room. He added that he “won’t be making any comments on recent media stories and my personal life.”
