Shannon Beador shared a bloody selfie taken right after her DUI crash in September 2023 on Thursday's episode of The Real Housewives Of Orange County on Bravo.
The 60-year-old reality star revealed that she texted the photo of her bloodied face to her then-boyfriend John Janssen, but he didn't come out to check on her.
'I don't need to defend him anymore,' Shannon said in a confessional.
Shannon emotionally recounted the incident to co-star Heather Dubrow: 'When I had my DUI, that night I lost control of the car and hit the house kind of kitty-corner to him. I hit a planter. The police were there. Then I went unconscious and woke up in the hospital.'
A close friend later pointed out to Shannon that they found it strange John didn't come out to check on her. Shannon realized she had texted a photo of her bloody face to John after the accident, but it was more than an hour before he texted back asking where she was.

'And I guess, he just went to bed,' Shannon said crying.
Shannon showed Heather, 55, the picture she sent John of her bleeding face.
'If that's true, that's f***ed,' Heather responded after enlarging the selfie that showed blood dripping below Shannon's eye down to her throat.
Shannon told Heather she had a deadline to get back to John that day over the lawsuit he filed against her seeking $75,000. She also learned from Gina Kirschenheiter, 40, that John had video of her from the night of her DUI.
'I didn't even know anything about a video,' Shannon said, crying. 'He wants to clear his name, and I'm not lying about John. When I started my relationship with John, I paid for everything!'
The season 18 episode, titled 'A Picture is Worth A Thousand Words,' opened with Heather inviting Alexis Bellino, 47, to her charity event in Sonoma while also letting her know that Shannon would be there.
'I need Shannon to shut her f***ing mouth,' Alexis said. 'I'm telling you right now. I'm about to unleash.'
Emily Simpson, 48, packed her bag for Heather's charity event to walk in a fashion show for Family Equality, an LGBTQ+ organization.

Jennifer Pedranti, 47, shared that she had to attend a court hearing for a temporary child support order. She called Katie Ginella, 40, and cried about the difficulty of the situation.
The ladies boarded Heather's private jet to fly to Sonoma. Heather had assigned seats to keep Shannon and Alexis separated and admitted in a confessional that she didn't want to sit next to Katie.
After landing, Alexis expressed her desire to approach Shannon and suggest putting their issues aside for the group's benefit. Gina advised Alexis against releasing any videos, warning, 'You don't want to be the executioner. You don't want that on your conscience.'
The women checked into Dawn Ranch and split up for lunch. Shannon shared with Emily, Katie, and Gina her shock at her ex John's red carpet interview with his new girlfriend, Alexis.
Shannon revealed she had a deadline that day regarding John's claim that she owed him $75,000. She had countered with half the amount.
'I just feel like it's extortion,' Shannon said, crying.
Heather, Alexis, and Tamra Judge, 57, attended an Equality wine tasting. Jenn joined them later, sharing that she received temporary support of $6,000 a month for her five children.

During spa treatments, Shannon received a call from her lawyer. She learned that John refused her offer, and she declined to increase it.
'Sometimes you write a check for your mental health,' Emily advised.
Alexis later told Heather that John planned to file a lawsuit against Shannon. Gina inadvertently revealed that John had videos from the night of Shannon's DUI.
'What video thing?' Shannon asked, visibly upset. 'Is it bad?'
Katie explained that John had Ring camera footage, including Shannon allegedly almost running over John's daughter. Shannon broke down crying.
'Is he trying to take me down?' Shannon said. 'I'm so angry right now. He's a monster.'
Gina expressed remorse in a confessional: 'I feel horrible. I'm genuinely concerned about Shannon. She is hanging on by a thread here. I'm afraid that I just pushed her off the cliff.'
Shannon returned to the room sobbing, thanking Gina but saying she hoped John 'rots in hell.'
She retreated to her room, feeling overwhelmed, but later sought out Heather to share her feelings.
The episode ended with a 'To Be Continued' message.
The Real Housewives of Orange County will return next Thursday on Bravo.
