Designer Rebecca Minkoff was put on the spot during a helicopter ride to the Hamptons when Brynn Whitfield pressed her about Scientology on Tuesday's episode of The Real Housewives of New York on Bravo.
'If people ask us about the Scientology sh** what do you want us to say?' Brynn, 38, said.
'Uhhh, no comment,' Rebecca, 42, said. 'And also if you're like, 'I don't know what to say, here's what someone asked me' come to me.'
Brynn explained that once it was announced that she was on the show that people would ask them questions, but insisted there was 'nothing secret' or 'nothing weird' about the organization she described as a 'world-recognized religion.'
'You should read the text message I just got right now from the Daily Mail,' Rebecca said. 'They're like 'We're going to run this story. It's about …and I was like 'great' right before we started filming.'

'This weekend all these new articles came out about Rebecca and being in Scientology,' Brynn said in a confessional. 'So there's more questions than answers.'

Brynn pointed to Jessel Taank, 44, who was also in the helicopter with them.
'I just tell people, 'if you're curious, read a book,' Rebecca said. 'That's it.'
'You are curious, let's talk about it when you can actually hear me talk,' Rebecca said in a confessional. 'First of all, we're in a helicopter and it's loud. I am not uncomfortable talking about it but I want to talk about it when there's a genuine interest and it's not just like 'tell me about the movie.' Do you want your friend to tell you about the whole movie or just go see the movie.'
'Just to play devil's advocate, Scientology is something that's like celebrity heavy,' Jessel said. 'People like to talk about it.'
'We're a world recognized religion,' Rebecca said. 'There's nothing secret. There's nothing weird, you know?'
'The response I'm getting is very like I'm talking to ChatGPT,' Brynn said in a confessional. 'This is not the time or place for this conversation but I feel like I'm talking to a door to door salesman or something that's trying to sell me snake oil. Between us you guys it's weird.'

Erin said that things have been weird for her with Jenna Lyons, 56, and also started crying talking about her husband Abe saying their relationship was strained but didn't explain exactly why.
Jenna Lyons, 56, met Sai De Silva, 43, for lunch. Sai said she felt betrayed by Brynn.
'She will go behind my back and talk sh** about me,' Sai said. 'I think that really just triggered me that night.'
Sai said Brynn won't meet her to talk about things in person.
'We have all seen Brynn do the same sh**,' Sai said.
'When Brynn is upset she threatens people,' Sai said in a confessional. 'That behavior is not okay.'
Erin went over to Brynn's apartment to talk to her. Before she arrived Brynn filed up an Evian water bottle with tap water.

Erin walked up the multiple flights to Brynn's apartment. When Erin finally got there, she told Brynn that had been really stressed and she didn't remember the things she said to her the other night.
'People get heated,' Erin said. 'I'm an authentic person. I can't mask myself all the time.'
'I don't need grown a** women yelling at me,' Brynn said. 'I've come very far in my life to avoid sh** like that.'
'I wasn't yelling at you,' Brynn said.
'This isn't like Staten Island,' Brynn said.
'Don't call me Staten Island,' Erin said. 'I'm a born and bred city person.'
Erin said she was sorry that Brynn felt hurt. Brynn said she told Jenna that she forgave Erin but told Erin that she shouldn't talk about anyone else's money. Erin said she needed support right now with her mother going through chemo.

Jenna went with her son Beckett and her friend Heather to go indoor rock climbing. Jenna was scared to try it.
'I'm afraid of heights,' Jenna said. 'How do I get down?'
Jenna spoke to Beckett about going away for college.
'I think you should go far away,' Jenna said. 'I don't know why.'
'When I moved to New York from California and arrived at the YMCA on 34th Street, which was disgusting I burst into tears,' Jenna said in a confessional. 'My room was six feet by eight feet so I could touch the walls. Experiencing things that are not in your comfort zone I think is important. It's a big world. It's not just New York.'
Jenna told them that her new car had arrived and they went out to see her new 2024 $217,625 Bentley hybrid.
'Come to mama,' Jenna said when she saw it.
'I'm not in a stable place at all,' Erin said crying. 'It's just a lot'

Erin went out to lunch with her husband Abe. Abe told her he understood that she would get mad at him when he hides things from her.
'Finding out that you sold our Bitcoin when we needed that for something that you know I wanted to use it for,' Erin said.
'Bitcoin was high and I thought it was a good time to pay off a large chunk of our mortgage,' Erin said in a confessional. 'I was just excited to log into my account and see how much it had grown. And then I go, and I see that it's gone. Major shock and he sold it when it was much lower than it is now.'
Erin told him that the worst part was that he had sold it years ago.
'You f***ed up,' Erin said. 'And that spiraled into learning about all the other sh** that you've been hiding from me.'
'I still feel terrible,' Abe said.
'You do have to be honest with me,' Erin said. 'I'm a successful woman and I deserve to be treated like a partner.'
Abe said in a confessional he just didn't want to add to the stress that Erin was already dealing with.
Erin went out to lunch with her husband Abe. Abe told her he understood that she would get mad at him when he hides things from her
'I still feel terrible,' Abe said
'I feel a great deal of pressure to provide a standard of living that she wanted, and so I'm working my a** off to provide a certain lifestyle,' Abe said.
Sai and Ubah went shopping for the Hamptons. Ubah said she felt sad about how words have been twisted in their group circle.
Sai said everyone was taking a helicopter but Ubah said she was driving. Sai then decided she wanted to drive with her instead of going on the helicopter with Brynn.
Real Housewives of New York will return next Tuesday on Bravo.
