Dr. Nicole Martin is not holding a Mojito during Season 7 of Real Housewives of Miami. However, she does have one major thing in common with Stephanie Shojaee, the richer-than-rich female hired to fill her stiletto shoes. To explain, these ladies are connected by a man, because of course they are.
Before this new season airs, we figured a breakdown of their similarities might be necessary. Read below to find out the connection Dr. Nicole has to Stephanie.
Who is Stephanie Shojaee?
Stephanie is a real estate developer in Miami, where she was born and raised. Her husband is Masoud Shojaee, who built the Shoma Group, a multibillion-dollar real estate firm in South Florida, from the ground up. Now, Stephanie is the President of this firm.
Nevertheless, like many Real Housewives, their business venture has faced its fair share of troubles. According to The Real Deal, a lawsuit accused Shoma Group CEO Masoud of failing to pay an $8 million loan on a condo in Coral Gables, Florida. However, this complaint, filed on January 6, 2025, was dismissed by January 24, 2025, after the parties reached a confidential settlement.
Masoud, for his part, denied this allegation, claiming, “We have never missed a payment for any of the loans we have with them, and the payments are current as of today.” As the trailer for RHOM Season 7 showed Stephanie stepping off a private plane decked in head-to-toe designer wares, I can only assume that Stephanie might have 99 problems, but her finances are not one.
How is RHOM newbie Stephanie Shojaee connected to Dr. Nicole Martin and her fiancé?
Stephanie married Masoud. Meanwhile, Nicole has a fiancé named Anthony Lopez. The man that both of these women have shared is the latter, the attorney named Anthony.
Nicole and Anthony just had their second child named Genevieve. She feels tired and drained, as all mothers of infants are. Therefore, Nicole called the time of death on her full-time role on RHOM, choosing to step aside for a year to focus on her mental well-being and her newest little cherub. We applaud Nicole for knowing her limits.
That said, now that Stephanie, Anthony’s ex, has joined this cast. Fans will never know if Stephanie and Nicole might have bonded, able to laugh over the annoying yet endearing quirks Anthony may or may not have. Likewise, if Stephanie had anything negative to say, she might still say it. But, with Nicole leaving this series, she can not state her responses unless she goes online as this season airs.
Sadly, we could not find any paper trails online detailing when Stephanie and Anthony dated. Hopefully, Stephanie will fill us in as the newest cast member on RHOM Season 7.
What has Nicole Martin said about Stephanie Shojaee and her potential return to full-time filming on RHOM?
At this point, we have to give both Stephanie and Nicole credit. Yes, their timelines include the same man. However, neither party has had anything negative to say to the press.
While hosting an AMA on her Instagram Stories, a viewer asked Nicole how it felt to be replaced by Stephanie. This fan then labeled Stephanie as “Uber fabulous rich.”
Nicole’s response has since expired on Instagram. Thankfully, the fan account @queensofbravo saved the receipts, showing how balanced Nicole was with this question. “I’ve never met Steph and don’t know her. But [I] can totally see why they wanted her on the show,” Nicole answered.
Nicole also admitted that Stephanie “brings a lot to RHOM, as [she has a] successful business [and] marriage, [with needed showings of] opulence, and ties to the cast.” Therefore, Stephanie’s presence in this series “seems reasonable” to Nicole. As for Nicole, her future on RHOM remains one big question mark since filming creates a “toxic environment at times.” As for Nicole and her house, they only desire peace.
The Real Housewives of Miami is streaming on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
