Adriana de MouraAdriana de MouraAdriana de Moura promises The Real Housewives of Miami is about to be on fire.
“This season has a lot of twists and turns, a lot of unexpected things that even myself wasn’t expecting,” Adriana, 59, exclusively teased to Us Weekly at the New You Beauty Awards on Saturday, March 29. “On a personal level, there is some conflict with friends that I thought I was friends with, maybe not so much friends … the typical cattiness of Housewives.”
Although Bravo has yet to announce a premiere date or confirm the cast for season 7, Adriana is expected to join Larsa PippenLarsa PippenLarsa Pippen, Alexia Nepola, Julia Lemigova, Guerdy Abraira, Lisa HochsteinLisa HochsteinLisa Hochstein, Kiki Barth and Marysol Patton for new episodes.
Dr. Nicole Martin previously confirmed she was stepping away from the franchise to prioritize her mental health and family.
"I definitely missed Dr. Nicole,” Adriana said while visiting 1 Hotel South Beach in Miami. “She was somebody I really liked, related to, could talk to, rationalized with. I feel like she got me and I got her and I really enjoyed her presence on the show.”
Alexia, 57, however, had a different perspective about her former costar.
“I never filmed so much with Dr. Nicole,” she told Us while also attending the New You Beauty Awards. “I was hoping that she would come back this season so we could have been friends. But, you know, she didn’t come back. So we have another girl that’s new and she’s great. She’s been really good for the group. She’s been a good addition to the group and she brings it.”
Any drama aside, Adriana said she hopes the new season will feature a look inside her music career as she launches a tour and drops new songs after the success of “FYAH,” teasing, “I’m really happy with this new season. I believe this is gonna be the best season yet. I think we keep outdoing ourselves and I think the twists and turns – this amazing kind of roller coaster ride – are really gonna show this season so much so that I think you know our episodes are gonna just be building up to this amazing finale.”
Alexia — who recently finalized her divorce from Todd Nepola — couldn’t help but agree saying season 7 is going to be “amazing.”
"I know that they wait a long time to have us on TV, but it’s so worth it,” she teased. “You’re all obviously going to tune in to listen and see my story. But I’ve always been very genuine, authentic and very vulnerable. … There are so many new friendships. There are friends that were before that are no longer friends. We’re just very passionate here in Miami.”
