For the first time in Housewives history, Andy Cohen is stepping aside—so who’s taking over? Hayu has officially named the host for the first-ever “Real Housewives of London” reunion, and it’s a bold (and British) choice. Known for her quick wit and sharp tongue, the new moderator is no stranger to the spotlight—and she’s promising to bring both humor and heat to the season’s final showdown.
Katherine Ryan Will Host the ‘Real Housewives of London’ Reunion
Hayu announced that comedian and TV personality Katherine Ryan will lead the reunion for “The Real Housewives of London,” the streaming platform’s first-ever original Housewives series. The Canadian-born, U.K.-based star is best known for appearances on hit British panel shows like “Have I Got News for You,” “Mock the Week,” and “Never Mind the Buzzcocks.”
“Pinch me and tell me this is real,” Ryan said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. “As a mega-fan of the ‘Real Housewives’ franchise — and of Hayu — I can’t wait to get Juliet, Amanda, Karen, Juliet, Panthea and Nessie into the hot seats at the end of the season.”
She continued: “Hosting ‘The Real Housewives of London’ reunion show is a dream opportunity for me, and I’m honored to be trusted to represent the fans and to bring a female perspective to analyzing all the emotions, arguments, twists and revelations.”
This marks a significant departure from tradition. Since the franchise’s early days, Bravo executive producer Andy Cohen has hosted nearly every Housewives reunion stateside. Ryan’s appointment signals a fresh tone for the London-based series, with a comedic edge and a distinctly British flavor.
Meet the Six Women in the Hot Seats
Katherine Ryan will moderate what’s sure to be a drama-heavy sit-down with six women embedded in London high society.
Juliet Angus, a Chicago-born stylist and alum of “Ladies of London,” now works as a global brand partner and influencer. She’s joined by Amanda Cronin, a former model turned entrepreneur who runs The Secret Door wellness clinic and Amanda Caroline Beauty.
Karen Loderick-Peace, originally from Jamaica, previously starred on “The Real Housewives of Jersey” (UK) and now splits her time between London, Jersey, and Barbados. Juliet Mayhew, a former Miss Galaxy Universe and luxury lifestyle entrepreneur, promises to stir things up with signature flair.
Panthea Parker, an Iranian-born socialite known for mingling with royalty and A-listers, brings decades of high-society experience to the table. And finally, Nessie Welschinger, a former equity executive and founder of the Chelsea Cake Company, rounds out the cast. She once served the late Queen Elizabeth II and previously appeared on “Bake Off: The Professionals.”
