Angela Oakley sets the record straight.Many “Real Housewives of Atlanta” fans believe Angela Oakley is having a spectacular first season. Drama kicked off for Angela after she invited Drew Sidora to Porsha Williams‘ birthday celebration in Nashville. Porsha isn’t on good terms with Angela because of Dennis McKinley. Drew and Dennis collaborated to record her album. However, Porsha felt like Drew crossed the line because she didn’t give her a heads-up about filming scenes with Dennis. In response, Drew said she tried to talk to Porsha multiple times. But Porsha never got back to her so they could agree on a date to have that conversation.
Regardless, Porsha ended up having tension with Angela over all of this. So when Angela overheard a drunk Porsha talking about Charles Oakley, she wasted no time confronting her. According to Angela and Kelli Ferrell, Porsha said she should sleep with Charles to be petty.
Brit Eady has also had Charles’ name in her mouth. She alleged that Charles had a baby outside of the marriage. This rumor originated with Wendy Williams.
Well, Angela discussed the rumor during a recent interview with the Viall Files.
Angela said, “Wendy Williams story, I think the story is the reason I was cast in a way because I just feel like it gives so much drama. But that’s not the case. Charles did not have a side baby. We can clear that and Wendy Williams and I had a conversation that just went left.”
She added, “I gave her some unsolicited advice.”
After one of the interviewers asked what was the unsolicited advice, Angela answered:
“I told her maybe she should stay with her husband and I know he had a baby on her but I just thought I was the biggest Wendy fan and I felt like now is my chance. I saw her in a private event. And I just went up to her. If Charles knew I did this ahead of time, he would have just kicked me out of the party because me and my big mouth.”
Angela continued, “I snuck over to her and I was like Wendy, you know, it’s just a baby. She went off. That’s why I’m like the fans are defending Wendy, Wendy went off on me herself. It wasn’t like Wendy was just sitting there.”
Wendy was immediately offended, “She was like, ‘Get the f away from me.’ And she was like, ‘Has that ever happened to you?’ Wendy went off! I have not lived this day down in my life. This is one of my worst moments because now I’m thinking back and I’m like that was Wendy Williams! Like who the heck do you think you are to give her unsolicited advice?”
Angela ends it with, “She did what I would have done too. If you’re bold enough to say this to me, I’m gonna put some juice on it. I’m gonna put some sauce on it…I’m gonna make it juicy ’cause you done lost your mind. And that’s what Wendy did. She gave me what I deserved. She added that I said he had a baby on me. It was not Charles Oakley. No! It was my oldest daughter’s father who had a baby.”
After someone on X responded to the repost from Jay’s Reality Blog stating they believed Angela lied, she said Charles’ son Charles, Jr. was born before they got together. He was not a break baby.
“He’s 28 baby. It’s before my time with my husband. ”
